Jimin's Pov

"Jimin, I'm the one who took your phone."
I look up from my plate and look at Jungkook.

"What?"

"I'm the one who took your phone." Jungkook says again.

"You took my phone?!" I say a little annoyed. So I was right, he took it.

"I thought you were going to call someone or something to help you so I took it." How did I not expect this?

"It's ok I guess." I say continuing to eat my food in front of me.

Wait, a thought just came into my head. What if we get a pet? Like a cat?

I finish my food so I stand up and put it in the sink. I go back to the table and sit down again.

"Jungkook why don't we get a pet?" I ask waiting to see his response.

He looks up confused. "A pet? Weren't you just like mad at me a few seconds ago?"

I shrug. "As I was saying, a pet like a cat. Won't you think it'll be fun to have a cat walking and running around here." I say looking around the kitchen pretending there's a cat running around.

"I've never had a pet before so I don't know." He says eating his food. I look at him shocked.

"You have never had a pet before?!" Wow I know his parents didn't really care about him but not even a pet?

"Nope."

"Well let's get a pet then." I ask, my eyes sparkling.

He looks at me and sighs. "Fine, we'll get a cat then."

"Yes!" I jump out of my seat and start to do a happy dance.

Jungkook laughs at me. I stop and look at him. I walk to him and sit right next to him.

"So when are we going to get the cat?" I ask excited while leaning closer to him.

"I guess today since I don't have anything to do." I smile wide.

"Yay!"

Jungkook parks his car in front of a small pet shop and we get out.

The pet shop is like only 2 or 3 blocks from Jungkook's house so it was a short ride. This is the first time I came outside ever since I've got taken away.

I missed the air, the trees, the people, the sky, the clouds, and everything outside. I forgot what it felt like out here..

As we walk into the shop, I immediately walk to the person at the cashier, pulling Jungkook along.

"Welcome, my name is Dahyun and how may I help you two?" The pretty girl says with a bright smile.

"Hi um where do you have the cats here?"

"Oh over here." She says as she walks away from the front desk. We follow right behind her.

As we're following her, we pass by fish, lizards, birds, hamsters, and mice. There's a lot of animals in such a small shop.

When we finally reach the cat section, I thank Dahyun and she bows and leaves.

Next to the cats are the dogs and next to the dogs is the back room where only people who work here can go into.

"Jungkook look for any cat that interests you." I say already looking at all the different cats.

"Well you're the one who wanted a cat, you pick." I pout but do as he says.

"Hmm" I hum while looking at a calico cat. I've always liked calico cats. I had one before but she died because of a car. (My cat died at a young age :(.)

"I think I'll take this one Jungkook." I say pointing to the calico cat. It's playing with a black cat.

I look on the glass door that's keeping the cats in and it has a paper on it. The paper has information about the two cats. I look at the calico cat's information and it's a girl, she's only 2 months old.

"Are you sure? Cuz I don't want to come back here and get a new cat if this one turns out to be a bad cat." Jungkook says and I laugh at his words.

"I'm sure I want this one." I say not looking at Jungkook but at the small calico cat.

We walk back Dahyun at the front desk and tell her we found a cat we want to buy.

She nods and grabs keys along with a plastic cat cage. We all walk back to the cat isle.

"Which cat do you want?" Dahyun asks me.

"This calico one." I say pointing to a curtain cat cage. She nods and unlocks the glass door of the cage and brings out the calico cat.

She opens the little cat cage and puts her in. We walk back to the front desk and she puts the cat cage on the desk.

"Okay, that will be $60." She says looking at the cashier register. Jungkook takes out money from his wallet and pays her.

"Thank you for coming and I hope you come back soon!" She waves goodbye to Jungkook and I as we walk out of the pet shop with the cat cage in my arms.
