I smiled at myself in the mirror, my long black hair in thick curls, bangs straightened. “You look gorgeous.” I heard a voice whisper, I turned around, Madge was standing there. “I knew you would come back.” She said, grabbing my hand firmly. While searching for dresses, I made sure to go back to Madge like I promised her several years ago. My dress enveloped me in the ivory material, swaying whenever I moved. The material folded down at the waist with lace detail on the bodice. “Are you ready to go?” I heard Candace call, I looked up at her. She looked gorgeous as always in her light yellow bridesmaids dress. “One second.” I replied lightly, checking myself in the mirror one more time. I slid on my shoes, the pink ones Niall had bought me when we first had met. “One more quick thing.” I heard my mom say, sliding the veil over my eyes, obstructing my face. “I’m so sorry I wasn’t there.” She whispered into my eat, giving my hand a tight squeeze. “All that matters is that you’re here now.” I replied, wrapping her in a tight hug. “It’s time to go Juliette.” Madge smiled. I nodded and walked out of the room, my heart beat was picking up as I walked through the church. My heart almost stopped as I saw my dad at the entrance of the room. The music started to play, I wrapped my arm in my dad’s, a tear rolled down his aging face. “I love you Juliette.” I smiled at the words I’ve longed to hear for many years. “I love you too dad.” He took several steps, signaling me to follow him into the ceremony. I looked at the faces sitting in the crowd at my wedding, my wedding through the material of my veil. I looked up, and saw Niall, my Nialler. Eyes following my every step, blue eyes shining like the ocean, I used my free hand to raise my veil above my face. I smiled slightly as I saw a tear roll down his cheek, my precious fiancé, now my husband. The walk to the alter was slow, I wanted to break free of my dad and run to him, but I couldn’t. We didn’t break eye contact as I walked up to him, his blue eyes reading mine. I clutched the bouquet of my favorite tiger lilies tighter, as I was not right in front of the stairs. Climbing up and taking my position near the alter, I looked at Niall. The boys were all behind them, his four best men, he couldn’t just pick one. Zayn and Liam were tearing up, Louis and Harry were beaming. I saw Harry mouth something to me, “You look like an angel.” I smiled at his comment, now standing across from Niall. My whole life, was in this room with me. My whole future, I usually would be scared of the future, based off of my passed. But not now, not today, I have Niall and with Niall I know everything will be alright. The pastor began, “Dearly beloved.”

I smiled as Niall took my hand, leading us out onto the dance floor, “You look stunning tonight.” He whispered into my ear as the music started to play. I smiled at his comment, “I love you Ni.” I replied resting my head on his shoulder. The music started to play, our wedding song, Christina Perri “A Thousand Years.”

Heart beats fast

Colors and promises

How to be brave

How can I love when I'm afraid to fall

But watching you stand alone

All of my doubt suddenly goes away somehow

One step closer

“You know I’ll always love you Juliette.” Niall promised. I smiled at his comment, “Same to you Niall, forever.”

I have died everyday waiting for you

Darling don't be afraid I have loved you
