Percy POV

I thought I was prepared I wasn't. When the girls walked into the kitchen dropped my plate.

"Close your mouth seaweed brain you're going to catch flies. "

"Whatever you say, wise girl"

I offered my arm and she took it we climbed into the limo and sped off toward the Empire State Building. Annabeth was wearing a silver and blue dress with sliver heals with seashells and owl earrings. When we arrived at the building we stepped into the elevator and inserted our cards. The 60s music began to play, I groaned.

"Remind me to ask Zeus to change the music," I told Annabeth she just laughed

I should explain whats happening. Today was the celebration of roman and greek. It commemorates the day the two camps created peace between the camps. The great hall was split in half one side deck out for the god's Roman form the other side for there greek. As the gods moved from one side to the other there appearance changed from greek to roman and back to greek. Horns blew as we entered the big bronze doors. A voice called out

"Yo dude its the man Percy Jackson"

"And his partner Annabeth"

Annabeth glared in the direction of the voice. Two satyrs with yellow and orange caps stood in the garden. Zeus walked up to us in greek form but every so often his toga would shimmer purple.

"Greetings Percy Jackson," He boomed

Annabeth POV

I was so angry after Zeus greeted Percy Posiden came up and leads Percy away to discuss underwater politics. That's not the part I am mad about its that no one cares about me. Zeus and Posiden didn't even acknowledge I was there. I scoffed and turned and walked straight back to the elevator. As I was about to walk inside a hand caught my shoulder. I whirled around unsheathed my knife and held it against the attacker's throat. I look up into a pair of cold grey eyes. I quickly sheathed my knife.

"Sorry mom I thought you where Percy"

"I warned you about dating that boy I knew he would get caught in this hero stuff," She said coldly

I sighed "It's not him just Zeus and Posiden"

Her expression hardens at Posidens name but softened again as a single tear slipped down my cheek.

"I..." she reached out as if to give me a hug but then pulled her hands back and her expression harden again,

"I will show you something but you must not tell anyone"

"Okay" I replied wiping the tears out of my eyes,

she leads me to the only house not made of gold. It was an old shack made of moldy wood and broken nails. Never the less Athena gingerly knock on the door. An old woman opened it

"This is Metis the Titan goddess of wisdom and although she under my protection the gods do not treat her with courtesy because she is a titan goddess."

"Is this the one?" Metis said in a fragile bit frim voice.

"Yes this is Annabeth"

"Follow me" she replied and lead us into the depths of darkness.
