- Alyssa's POV -

Our flight was scheduled for Thursday, so two days. I was already packing up the apartment with Vanessa. We had talked to Ms. Hart and she freaked out saying how exciting it was. She promised to send us shipments of her new clothes and that she would come and visit sometime. Vanessa and I were excited to make the move. We didn't have much here and getting out of the city we'd lived in our whole lives would be nice. I would miss the small coffee shops and stores that surrounded us, but we would find new favorite places out in LA. Plus, it would be warm, so warm, and I loved warm weather. And of course, Harry would be there. According to what Maria said, this house was ridiculously huge. I could live with that. My whole life I had always lived in small places. My parents and I lived in a tiny apartment until they passed and then I moved into Vanessa's penthouse the year before college, when we moved into this apartment.

All of a sudden Vanessa showed up in my doorway.

"What are we going to do when we have to pack up the closet?" I asked Vanessa.

"Well, we can label the boxes with whats in them, shirts, crop tops, shorts, etc., and then just shove everything in them," she responded.

I laughed because it sounded crazy that we were going to bring our huge closet with us to LA, but I knew that Vanessa couldn't live without her clothes.

"What time are the boys coming over?" she asked.

I checked my watch, "About an hour. I said they could come over and we could order pizza."

"Sounds good," she said giving me a smile and turning back towards her room to continue packing. I turned back towards my desk to finish clearing out all my book and crap that had been shoved in drawers.

After I had finished cleaning out my desk, I moved to working on my bookshelf and packing up the books around my room. I had so many books, but no place to put them. I hoped for a huge bookshelf at the new house, one that I could line with any and every book that I wanted. I could imagine a wall filled with all my favorite author's books, John Green, Veronica Roth, Suzanne Colins, Ally Condel. Here I was imagining a room full of books, while Vanessa was probably imagining a room full of clothes. We were pretty different people, but I think that was what made us work, we balance each other out.

I finish packing all my books carefully into 2 boxes and carry them to the living room where we were piling up our boxes.

I hear a knock on the door, and then a shriek of "They're here!" from down the hallway.

I walk over to the door and open it up to see two smiling boys standing in front of me. Niall walks in to go find Vanessa and Harry walks right up to me.

"So, pizza?" he says to me.

****

A few hours later, we're all sitting around our little table munching on the margarita pizza we ordered. We talked about what we thought life would be like out in LA, and how the boys would have so much time on their hands with not having to record or do any gigs.

"What are we going to do all day?" I said laughing.

"Well, we can go swimming, shopping, go to parties, movies, beach, and stuff like that. LA is pretty awesome," Niall said.

I say back in my chair thinking about all the opportunities we would have to do fun things. It was getting later and later and I was getting more and more tired.

"I'm tired," I finally said to everyone.

Vanessa looked at me and I knew exactly what she was thinking before she even said it.

"Why don't you just stay here for the night?" She said to the boys.

Harry looked at me as if he was asking permission with his eyes. I gave him a smile and he grinned.

"So, yes?" Vanessa asked.

"I don't see why not," Harry said.

I could see Vanessa's eyes light up. She looked at Niall with her big blue eyes and he looked back at her with the most loving expression.

Then out of nowhere he stood up, picked her up off of her chair and ran down the hall with her.

I burst out laughing and looked over at Harry who was laughing too. He grabbed my hand and smiled at me.

"I don't know if you're telling me the truth about being okay with going to LA, but I promise you I will take care of you. I will make sure you have the best two years of your life," he said giving me a sympathetic smile.

"I'm telling you the truth. I want to go to LA. Want to know why? Because I get to go with you, and there's nowhere I'd rather be than with you," I said standing up.

He stood up and then slung me over his shoulder. I shrieked and started laughing. I pretended to punch his back, but he just kept running down the hall with me. He closed the door behind us and dropped me casually on the bed. I laid there on the bed, still calming my laughter.

He moved on top of me and brushed my hair away from my face. I brought my hands to his face and lifted my mouth to his. We collided and I felt like there was nothing else in the world better then this. I was in love with him. I knew it. I was now and I always would be. Our mouths moved in sync and I could feel the love, the passion, between us.
