Mag aalasais na ng hapon the Sun was about to set. Nasa library si Ashley gumagawa ng assignments. May library naman sila sa bahay pero mas gusto niya sa school para pag uwi niya pahinga nalang siya.

Kring kring…

“Hello?” Ashley asked when she pick up Her phone.

“Princess si Vian po ito gusto po ipaalam sa inyo na pinapauwi kayo ng Papa niyo”

“Okay sige Vian pauwi na din ako”

At tinawagan niya ang driver nya.

“Hello Miss Ashley?”

“ Kuya, I need you to be at the school gates now!”

“Yes master”

Umalis agad si Ashley sa library at pumunta sa main gate ng school, sakto naman kakadating lang ng driver niya.

Ng makauwi sa mansion.

“Vian?” tawag ni Ashley

“ Yes princess?”

“ Nasan si Papa?”

“ Nasa library po princess”

At pumunta agad siya sa library

“Good day Papa, may sasabihin po kayo?” tanong ni Ashley sa Ama niya

“ Yes, you’re turning 18 next month right?”

“Opo, Papa”

“And that is an legal age for marriage?” pag papatuloy ng Ama niya

“ Yes Pa” bakit niya tinatanung yan? Sa isip ni Ash, kinakabahan na siya,

“ I was thinking of celebrating it with a ball”

“ Nako pa ayos lang po ang simple, no need for that”

“ I insist anak, hindi na bumabata si Papa im getting older, when the right time comes you’ll be taking my place in our company” sabi ni Jude

Ashley looked at her father “ Alam ko naman po iyon Papa”

“ And I don’t expect you handling it by yourself”

“Ano po ibig niyo sabhin?” nag tatakang tanong ni Ash

“ Ang ibig kong sabihin ay kailangan mo ng makakatuwang sa buhay”

“Pero” she was cut off

“Let me finish Ashley. As I was saying, either iarrange marriage kita or you find your self a fiancé on or before your birthday”

“Anu??? Pa ganon ka bilis?” napataas ang bosses ni Ash sa pag kagulat

“ Im sorry, but I have to be frank, the company’s income is running low and by next year we would be shutting down, kaya kailangan kita I arrange sa isang lalake na worth of investment enough to stabilize our proceeds”

Ashley stared at her father. Stood up and hug him.

“ I understand dad, I would be glad to help the company”

“Thank you ash”

“ No prob dad, I’ll go now”

The next day tumatakbo na si Ashley sa school dahil malalate na siya, hyzzzz pano naman siya makakatulog ng maayos ikaw ba naman madaliin mag asawa.

Bakit ba palagi nalang ako tumatakbo simula pumasok ako dito? Umakyat na sita papunta sa 1st period nya na biology.

She turned to the corner but she bumped unto something or someone… it was Christian Aaron Vuenevista

“Watch it nerdy!” maangas na sabi ni Aaron sa dalaga

“So…sorry” nauutal na sabi ni Ash

“ Next time watch where you’re going Miss four eyes!!”  dagdag ng binata

Stupid jerk! Ashley stood up and face Aaron.

“ Well sorry if im such a klutz, malalate na nga ko sa 1st period……” she walked passed Aaron when she was about 2 meters away. “ And so are you BLONDIE”

Aaron turned to shout at her, “ ANONG SA-“

Pero wala na siya

Pano niya nagawa yun? Isip ng binata

“Goodmorning brats!” greeted by Gilbert

“ Goodmorning Sir!” bati ng mga estudyante

“Nag aral ba kayo?”-----“ POP QUIZ”

“Awwwwww”  angal ng mga estudyante…

The quiz was all about their past lesson and advance ones there were about 100 items!

“ What the fuck is this shit! Quiz ba oh??!!” Glenn blurted out pano ba naman pang exam na ata ung quiz eh.

“ What was that Tan?” tanong ni glbert

“ Auhm wala po Sir”… Glenn said while sweat drpping.

But when you look over Aaron, he was sitting back on his seat both legs on the table, arms behind head and playing with pencil on his upper lip.

“ Vuenevista! What the heck are you doing?”

“ Im done sir, can I go now?”

“Sige you may now go”

Aaron took his paper and went to the teacher’s desk to pass it. When He glanced at His seatmate, thinking She was still there, to his surprise She was nowhere to be found..

What the hell nauna siya sakin! Isip ng binata

As Aaron stepped out from the room He saw Ashley leaning back against the wall, parang may hinihintay.

Aaron smirked

Lumapit siya sa dalaga

“Hey nerdy!, waiting for someone?” tanong niya sa dalaga

“None of your business JERK!”, then Ashley turned and walked away, leaving a dumdfounded Aaron behind.

Did she just ignore me??
