“Ok. So let’s get down to business” Allen said once I was finally seated on the couch across from him.
“Yeah we need a song and it has to be big” Adain stated from his seat in the only chair in the room with his feet hang over the side arm of the chair and his head on the other.
“Well I have a few with me” I said quietly as I proceed to dig through my backpack looking for my song binders.
“How many is a few?” Allen asked just as I found the two 3 ring binders I was looking for and sat them on the table.
“That a few?”Adain said shocked while Allen just stared.
”umm. yeah” I said quietly while a blush slow crept up my face
Finally coming out of his shock Allen asked “so what are we looking at?”
“Ok, so the blue binder is pop rock and the red is pure rock. Both have my favorites in the front.”
“ok any one specifically you want to do?” Allen asked while going through the red binder.
“Um. Yeah actually there is” I picked up the blue binder and pulled out the lyrics for Everybody fool and Ignorance. “But am not sure which one I want to use.”
Allen and Adain both took a page and started to read the lyrics. While I waited till they finished I finally took a real look at the room we where in. It wasn’t overly large as expected of a band room it was smaller more the size of a small lounge with comfortable black chairs and couches and a mini-frig in the corner. The room was painted a dark red at the top which faded down the wall into a bright red at the bottom and pictures of their lives covered the walls.
They switched lyrics as I looked at the pictures of birthday parties, Christmases, family trips, or the boys just having fun but one in particular caught my eye. The boys looked about 12 years old they where soaking wet with swim trunks on and goggles on top of the head. Their arms wrapped around each others shoulder. Their smiles making the picture glow with happiness. That when I realized it was not the picture it self but the happiness that radiated from it that really got my attention. I missed having close friends that I would see everyday hang out and goof of with. Friends that would understand that something was wrong with out me having to say anything at all. I miss having the close bond and happiness the guys showed in this picture. Is it to much to ask that one day I would be in a picture like that surrounded by my true friends?
“So” Allen said breaking into my thoughts, “I think we should do this one” sitting the paper done in front of me.
I looked at the title and back at Allen “Are you sure?”
“Oh absolutely”Adain shouted “this will put Amber in her place”
“Alright then lets get started” Allen said
“I will go get the guys” I said as I got up and went up the stairs only to find skylar by her self sitting on the couch with her eyes closed counting.
“Sky what are y-
“Ready or not here I come!” she yells then races of not hearing me at all.
“Eva what taking so long ”Adain and Allen ask at the same time when they walk into the room.
“They’re playing hide-n-seek”
“Really?” Allen ask as we all stood there and watch Adam and Alex being chased around by a very small skylar and we bust out laughing at the sight. But could you blame us I mean really seeing two big 6 foot guy being chase around by a six year old was hilarious.
Soon the laughter stops and Allen takes the boys down stairs while I put sky down for a nap. Then head down my self.
