I wake up and see nobody when I look up, I start to get worried right away, but then I remember we're in Kansas so he's probably downstairs. I get up and go into Colbys closet, grabbing a hoodie, I then go downstairs and see him sitting on the couch next to Gage. I walk over to them and sit on Colby's lap, he hugs me tightly. "Morning babe, sorry I wasn't in bed when you woke up my mom made breakfast for us, it's in the kitchen." He says, I get up and go to the food. "(Same Sam 😂😂) "Colby can you come out here I wanna talk to you." I say, colby gets up sits in the chair next to me. "What is it?" He asks. "I know that we kinda solved the issue last night, but I feel like you're still mad at me." I say, colby opens his arms for me to hug him. "I'm not mad at you, it's my fault we had to leave." Colby says. "It's not your fault, it was the alcohol." I say, Gage comes out into the kitchen as I say that. Colby looks at Gage, the look of disappointment is all over Gage's face. "Colby, you drink?" Gage asks, colby looks at me, "Mom! Dad! Come out here!" Gage yells, his parents come out. "Colby drinks, he's underage, you said you would beat him the next time he does that!" Gage says, Colby's expression immediately turns to terrified. "Colby, is this true?" His dad asks, colby nods his head, I see a tear fall down his cheek, I could feel the fear start to rise, his dad walks over to me and points at me, "did you know about this Samuel?" His dad asks, I feel my eyes start to tear up, "Yes." I say quickly. "Then why the hell didnt ya stop that fag!" His dad yells, flicking me in between my eyebrows, i start to cry. "Dad! Don't touch him!" Colby yells. "Oh sit the fuck down you disappointment." His dad says, colby starts to cry harder as his dad slaps him across the face. Colby gets up and grabs my hand, we run to the front door and leave. I finally understood, after all of these years that I've known Colby, why the hell he is so delicate.
