Chapter 6 - College All Over Again.

Breanna P.O.V

Today is the day I pack up and head to New York. I really don't want to leave Justin behind, I love him too much.

I finished up with my bags and dragged them downstairs. Justin was waiting there for me. He looked up hugged me tightly.

" It's college all over again. I love you baby. I'm gonna miss you. We'll figure something out I promise. " He said holding me.

I felt tears fall from my eyes. " I'll miss you too. "

I heard Amanda's car honk again and I let go of Justin. I sighed and kissed his lips before exiting.

I tossed all my bags in Amanda's truck. I can't believe I'm getting my dream job.

" Here we go. " Amanda said as I hopped in the car. " I'm so excited! "

" Me too! " I cheered!

New York

I stood outside of me and Amanda's apartment. It was really nice. We entered the building and went inside our apartment.

" Ah! OMG! " Amanda screamed.

" I know! "

The walls were completely white, there was a nice living room, a big kitchen, two bathrooms, and two bedrooms.

" Well we better hurry and get ready for our first day on the job. "

It was almost 3:30 so we had to rush. After getting dressed we hopped in the car and rushed to work.

As I walked through the building doors all I saw was people walking back and forth, papers everywhere, and people talking on the phone.

" Ah, Ms. Ricks, you're 10 minutes late. You too Ms. Alexandre, but I'm in a good mood today so I'll let it slide. " Mr. Mahone said.

I turned around and there he stood in a blue suit and tie. He smiled at Amanda and I before speaking again.

" Amanda your office is C-19 and Vice President Ms. Ricks, your office is C-1. Get to work all the papers and information you need should be on your desk. " He explained shooing us away.

Amanda scurried away but Mr. Mahone grabbed my hand before I had the chance.

" I'll show you to your office. Hm? " He smiled and walked hand and hand through the office with me.

Everyone was staring and some girls were giving me jealous stares.

" I'm a big girl, I can find my own office. " I snapped.

" Shut up, I just want to walk you. " He rolled his eyes.

We finally arrived to my office and he opened the office door for me.

" It's so nice in here. " I said in awe.

" I know, I made sure it was nice. Just for you. " He smiled.

" Yeah, that's nice. You should go now so I can get to work. " I said.

He smiled at me one last time before leaving. God he's annoying. He's nice I guess, but annoying.

I heard my phone buzz and I pulled if out of my bag. It was from Cameron.

From Cameron: How's the job so far :)

I smiled to myself before texting back.

To Cameron: It's awesome, just my boss is a creepy perv, lol

I began reading the papers on my desk and I heard my phone beep again.

From Cameron: Better not let Justin no about it, lmao 😂

I chuckled to myself before texting back.

To Cameron: We're on a break right now. Until we can figure some stuff out.

Ugh, why did I remind myself.

From Cameron: Awe 😟 wanna grab dinner later? We can talk about it.

To Cameron: Thanks Cam, of course. I'll text you later. Cya 👋

I'm glad I have a friend like Cameron. He's so sweet and he cares about my problems. I don't want to get over Justin though, I just need time to think.

Justin P.O.V

I thought a break would help, but it didn't. It made it worse. I miss her a lot. Maybe, I should just go and move out there with her. We can get a house, I'll just be extra careful. I can't stand not being with her.

She's probably talking to other guys now. A break was a terrible idea.
