Clint Balmore's POV

4 hours later..

"In carnage, we bloom like a flower in the dawn?" Zac said

The plan was, I snipe from rust hill and assist team 1 to infiltrate the main door to the base and from their on they will release a flare to indicate that our whole army can attack.

Right now, Rosie is behind me, well I ain't going to release her just yet

I watched as team 1 was slowly making their way to kill a few scouts

Come on.

"GUYS OVER HERE!" A scout shouted

Shit we've been spotted already. I immediately put my eye behind the scope but it was too late as I watched as 3 of my men die

"I can't believe I'm going to say this, Rosie guard them"

She nodded and ran straight towards the enemies and I watched as she brought down those men.

"Holy crap"

The rest of team 1 made their way to the entrance.

"I hope you do well brother." I mumbled

The screams of pain and agony filling the air but there was a certain voice I heard. My brother's

With all my courage and strength left inside me I stood up with my own legs and tried to make my way towards my brother.

I tried to make my way down the hill but I ended up tripping and I stumbled down the hill. Tears started brimming my eyes but I won't let anything stop me.

I looked around and I saw Rosie coming towards my way.

"Rosie h-help me get up and towards there" I pointed at the entrance. She eyed me and nodded

"Yes major"

She grabbed my arm and helped me go to the entrance we managed to fight our way through until I finally reached my brother, as soon as I saw him he was shot, shot in the left arm but there was a gun pointed at his head.

I quickly aimed my gun towards the enemy and pulled the trigger the sound of the body could be heard and tiny raindrops started falling.

A few other soldiers came our way

"Damn enemies.."

Rose immediately stood up grabbed a pistol and started shooting. I looked at my brother in the eyes.

"Can you still shoot?"

"Yes can do"

6 enemies tried flanking us but Rosie was quick and killed 2 right after I pointed my gun at another and my brother did so too, we both pulled the trigger.

The last came charging at us but I aimed my gun and shot him straight in the eye.

I told Rosie to release a flare that it was now okay to infiltrate the base, she nodded and ran off.

A few seconds later the sound of my men came louder and louder

But something was even louder, sniper bullets. My brother quickly took my hand and dragged me towards a pillar but it was too late he got shot in the chest. My eyes widened and I pulled out my gun I aimed at the 2 people hiding behind the pillar and shot one with rage and anger but the sound of my gun clicking went to my ears

Shit no bullets

I looked at Rosie holding a knife, I watched her every move and she threw the knife, I watched it as it flipping in the air and landed on the guys chest. She quickly ran towards me and dragged my out of the place, I looked at my brother and I cried and cried

Rosie seemed to notice a few more enemies headed our way and she pointed her gun at them but a few already landed on her arms and a few already landed on my chest.

My vision started blackening and the last thing I saw was the enemies being dropped down my someone and Rosie pulling me still with her now shot arms.

She's strong

Then my eyes shut.

With little strength left I opened my eyes and I saw Rosie trying to stabilise my breathing but I stopped her

"Rosie stop."

She she kept on going

"STOP"

"But we can still save you"

"It's no use I'll be dead b-before the e-even know it"

"But majo-"

"JUST STOP"

Tears brimming her eyes.

"I-im sorry for yelling but Rosie.. my dear, Be free Rosie, Be free, I believe my time has ended but yours has just begun, when I'm gone I want you to go out there, be happy and find a man you love."

She was left there speechless and before I knew it my eyes closed, beating stopped.

Rose's POV

"No.. No.. MAJOR! WAKE UP!"

I shook him harshly praying for him to wake up. I placed my hands on his chest and started CPR. I-its not working.

I still dragged his body out of this warfare and behind a tree near our camp I looked at my necklace and tears fell out of my eyes.

I stood up and ran towards the war. Dropping bodies endlessly. Without major there was nothing left. I kneeled down on the field and covered my eyes with my bleeding arms and cried.

"Hey what's- HEY YOUR ARMS, GET THIS GIRL A MEDIC" I heard Zac say

I looked up and I blacked out. Major I wish you goodbye..
