Rose's POV

I woke up with pain in my head I looked around and I was at a familiar house, it was Majors house. I looked at my hand and they seemed fine now,I looked to the side and I saw Zac walking his way towards me holding a glass of water

"Drink this"

I took the glass and drank it

"Where's Major?"

"Oh Rosie he, he didn't make it, and why are you asking? You never spent that long with him anyway"

"I don't care how much time I spent with him!"

"Since when did you learn how to talk?"

I looked at the library and how we taught me how to speak and read. I then looked at him and stood up then made my way to the library. I looked up and saw that book he read to me.

"It's best if you don't use your hands quite yet" Zac said

I pouted and sat down thinking about the war and the major.

Uh hang on where's my ring

I looked at Zac and asked him.

"Where's my ring?"

"We didn't find it after the war, we can check it tomorrow"

"No I want it now"

"But your arms are still healing"

"I don't care"

I stood up and made my way to the door I looked at Zac and ran

Where exactly am I?

I looked around and saw Zac smiling

"Lost are ya?"

"Please help"

He sighed

"Fine"

My face lit up and Zac called for a horse and carriage

--TIME SKIP--

I searched and searched until I noticed something green and blue glowing underneath

I found it

"Zac over here!"

He made his way towards me and lifted a few parts of debris. I slid it in my finger but tears started brimming my eyes, Zac hugged me and caressed my back.

"It's ok"

We made our way to the carriage and I sat while looking at all the wreck. Memories flooding my mind.

"For now I'll be taking care of you ok?"

"Yes sir"

"Oh don't sir me I'm not part of the army anymore, also from now on you will attend school with my son Louis"

"Yes"

A few minutes have passed and silence filled the air.

"Sir where can i stay for the night?"

"There is a small house near Major's old one, don't worry everything has been paid"

"Thank you"

"Stop right here"

"What?"

"No I was talking to the driver, stop here"

This must be it, it's just 1 block away from major's

"Also your clothes are coming in an hour, I made Major's maid knit some for you"
