Rose Cotton's POV

"Today we have a new classmate that will join this year, please introduce yourself" it was the teacher

"I-I'm Rose Cotton"

"Well, Rose where did you come from?"

"I.. I'm not so sure"

"What do you mean your not sure?

"I really don't know ma'am"

I looked at my classmates and I saw some of them snickering

"JHIN!"

The boy stood up.

"What's so funny"

"S-so she's from the forest?"

The whole class started bursting with laughter.

"You are not CHILDREN ANYMORE! SILENCE!"

"Hehe" Jhin chuckled for the last time.

"Ok Rose you will sit in front of Jhin, Jhin please stand up"

The boy who laughed at me.

I sat down on my chair and immediately I felt someone near my ear

"You were in the war am I right?" Jhin whispered

"JHIN is there anything you want to share with the class?" The teacher said

"Actually yes, yes I do. Turns out Rose here went to war, and before that they found her snooping around the military training camps, so maybe Rose did come from the forest"

The class started laughing again.

"Cut it out Jhin" I turned around and saw Louis.

"What will you do? Coward."

"BOTH OF YOU QUIET BEFORE I SEND YOU OUT! And JHIN DON'T DISTURB YOUR CLASSMATES"

Jhin and Louis sat back down on their seats

Class wasn't so hard I guess except for the the times whenever Jhin would bother me.

"Class dismissed"

Everyone started standing up and headed towards the door, my teacher went closer to me and sighed

"Rose, if Jhin bothers you, you tell me ok?"

"Yes miss"

"Oh also we have something called cleaners, so you will have to clean the class along with Louis by tomorrow"

"Yes miss"

The teacher left and Louis poked my shoulder

"Hey"

"Hi Louis"

"I'll be taking you back home"

"Oh ok"

We headed out of the school and walked, I looked at the scenery around me and I could see little bits of war left and I realised that Joy can turn into horror, and something beautiful can prove an illusion. We reached the house and I waved goodbye to Louis. I changed my clothes and decided to take a stroll around the place to familiarise myself with my environment.

I forgot that majors maids made my clothes, I better go pick them up I walked towards his home and rung the bell, the maid stood there.

"Oh Rosie! What a delight"

"Hi um."

"Please call me Mrs. Steinitz, I came from Berlin"

"Oh um I came for my clothes"

"Ahh yes just wait a little moment"

She walked inside and I sat down by the porch.

"Rosie here"

"Oh thank you so much! Mrs. Steinitz"

I was walking down the road going back to my house after I encountered Jhin.

"Hey Rose!"

"H-hi Jhin"

"Watcha got there?"

"Oh um"

We snatched one dress and gave it a close look.

"Please Jhin I really have to go back.

"Hmm not so fast"

He dropped the dress and picked up a polo. I picked up the dress from the ground and noticed a little stain on the side, he dropped the shirt and was about to pick up another one.

"JHIN!"

He turned around and I saw Louis, Louis clenched his fists and was about to strike Jhin so I grabbed his fists.

"It's not worth it"

Jhin looked at me and Louis and ran off, what was that?

"Rose are you hurt?"

"Oh no no I'm not, I just have to wash these"

"I'll go wash them for you"

"It's good I got it covered, go back to your home, Goodnight Louis"

"See you tomorrow Rose"

He walked off in the distance I went inside and decided to wash my dress since I was starving.I made a sandwich and headed to bed.

--FOLLOWING DAY LATER--

"CLASS DISMISSED!, oh Rose and Louis please clean the class today"

"Yes miss" I replied

The teacher went outside and Louis was scratching the back of his neck

"You got a problem?"

Louis looked at me

"I'm really sorry but could you clean for me? I have practice later"

"Oh for what?"

"I'm going to shooting range"

"Oh yes of course"

"Thanks so much Rose! I'll get going Bye!"

"Bye!"

I looked at the class and the tables were really dirty. I started with my desk and started wiping them. I finished with mine and moved on to Jhin's but at that moment Jhin came into the classroom.

"ROSE!"

"U-um Jhin how are you?"

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH MY TABLE"

"I was assign-"

Jhin pushed me onto the floor

"Don't touch it, and don't stay near me or my stuff"

Tears started brimming my eyes

"I was just wipin-"

"Oh shut up"

I couldn't hold it so I stood up and punched him in the face. He started rubbing his cheek and he kneed me in the stomach. I clenched my fist and started a series of punches to his body but he managed to defend somehow.

I stopped and sat down by the corner, and Jhin left the class
