Junhoe exhaled nervously as he turned into the street Jinhwan lived in. He was a bit more than nervous - he was actually straight out panicking. He didn't know how to properly execute his plan. What if Hanbin finds out about what he's about to do? He would probably kill him and he would probably lose Jinhwan as a friend.

He had definitely fallen for Jinhwan. Everything about him was just perfect - his eyes, personality, smile, laugh, lips... everything was just perfect. He couldn't help but feel a bit possessive of Jinhwan - he almost wanted to get rid of Hanbin completely and have Jinhwan just for himself. But he couldn't do that.

He pulled up to the house, stopping just to take a look at Jinhwan, who waited outside his house, just as he instructed. Jinhwan wasn't smiling, so he was probably scared because Junhoe sounded so rushed.

He noticed that Junhoe pulled up and stood up from the steps, walking calmly but quickly to the car. He opened the door, sitting in the passenger seat.

"What's going on? I was reading a script," Jinhwan huffed. Junhoe actually doubted that - no one looks that pretty just to be lazy all day and read a script. Jinhwan had pink lip tint on and the pretty choker Junhoe had bought him a few weeks before. He looked absolutely stunning - even in a large T-shirt and grey sweatpants. "Junhoe, answer me."

"J-just relax. We'll be back soon, depending on what happens now," Junhoe stuttered slightly. He was nervous and scared - and awestruck by Jinhwan's appearance. He began driving and Jinhwan sighed, shaking his head.

"If I don't ace the role, it's going to be your fault," he mumbled. The two drove for a short while - probably only 7 minutes. Jinhwan looked much more relaxed than before as he stared out the window.

The SUV stopped and Jinhwan saw that they were at a isolated spot at the city gardens. The older frowned and looked over at Junhoe.

"I thought it would be better if we took a walk so we can talk. You've done nothing but practice that script and we haven't spoken in a while because of Hanbin," the tall male replied. Jinhwan sighed.

"That's a bit true," he hummed. Junhoe unlocked the car and they stepped out. He put on the alarm and they began walking. They were silent and slow as they stepped on the path. It was peaceful. Jinhwan didn't bother about his clothes because they were alone. It didn't bother Junhoe either because he even looked perfect like that.

"How has life been?" Junhoe asked suddenly.

"Kinda crap. I got the script for auditions this morning and I've been practicing all day. Then Hanbin and I argued over something stupid. Then my parents had an argument and Dad left angrily and I could barely practice. Today was just horrible. It's relaxing to get out like this. I'm kinda glad you dragged me out the house," Jinhwan replied. Junhoe sighed.

"I need to tell you something," he said. Jinhwan frowned as he heard Junhoe's serious tone.

"Did something bad happen?" he asked.

Junhoe chuckled bitterly. "Sort of. A while ago, I fell for someone. I fell for them hard. I didn't properly recognize my feelings yet, thinking that I simply just admired the person. Turns out, I loved every small thing about that person. I loved them. But then... I indirectly got my heart broken. I didn't pay attention and tried to distract myself from my hurting heart - which I didn't know was hurting in the first place. Then I saw how happy that person I liked was with someone else - someone I didn't particularly like. Then I realized how much I truly loved this person. I couldn't handle it anymore. I needed him to be mine forever. But I didn't know how to do it, so I considered giving up and letting that person go, but... you know how I am. I'm not letting go that easily. So I decided to tell that person I love them."

Jinhwan raised an eyebrow. "Who is this guy?"

Junhoe stopped walking. "Jinhwan... I... I... I l-love... y..." He sighed, shaking his head. He was worried. "I l-love you. A lot. I was so blind of my own feelings. I know, I'm stupid. But I know you don't feel the same - you can't. You have Hanbin. And I have no chance anyways - I'm too late. Even if I confessed earlier, I know you wouldn't accept my feelings because I'm a huge, stupid ditz. No one can really love me. And... I also lied about Chanwoo. He confessed and I said no because in my heart, I knew I liked you. I'm sorry for making things so awkward now, but I can't hold it in anymore."

Jinhwan was silent for a bit, a look of shock in his eyes. "You know what? You are a huge, stupid ditz. I would gladly accept Hanbin over you. I'm not going to give you some cheesy confession, but... I really liked you too. After the Hanbin accident, you were there for me. I don't know why you think I wouldn't accept your feelings. Hanbin was mean and inconsiderate and stupid, but you were nice. You treated me well. You showed your affection in the nicest way. I definitely like you. But you're right - you're too late. Hanbin has been treating me much better and I've found myself falling for him."

Junhoe felt his world shattering. Of course. Hanbin had been saying how well his relationship with Jinhwan had been going. He would never have a chance.

"Plus, I just got serious with him. Hanbin really seems to really like me. I don't want to hurt him," Jinhwan continued. "I don't want things to be this way, Junhoe."

"No, it's fine. I understand. Hanbin did feel bad for treating you badly. I'm stupid, sorry. That's why I said I'm too late. And I had no chance in the first place," Junhoe mumbled. "I... I'll take you home now. I'm so sorry for wasting your time, Jinhwan hyung."

Jinhwan bit his lips nervously and nodded. His heart broke at seeing Junhoe's downcast expression. He was clearly trying not to cry. They began walking back to the SUV. The weather suddenly felt colder and Jinhwan shivered. He hadn't brought a jacket.

"Cold?" Junhoe asked. His voice broke a bit, indicating his mood. Jinhwan didn't look at him yet and nodded. The atmosphere was very awkward. He frowned, feeling a warm fabric being put over him. It was Junhoe's jacket.

"Aren't you going to get cold? You're only wearing a tank top," Jinhwan said.

"I'll be fine - just be glad you have something warm on," Junhoe replied. "Put it on."

Jinhwan slipped his arms into the sleeves and zipped the zip up. He was immediately surrounded by warmth. The  jacket was almost 2 sizes too big for him, but he didn't mind. He put the hoodie on as well. His heart clutched when he saw the goose bumps already forming on Junhoe's arms. He felt bad. Junhoe really did too much for him.

"So we'll forget everything I said, okay? Let's just be normal friends," Junhoe said. "You should text me more often. I'm kinda bored a lot."

"What about Chanwoo? Aren't you two talking to each other?" Jinhwan asked.

"Sort of. My dad I knows my sexual preference, and is trying to get me with Chanwoo again because it'll be a good for the business in the future," Junhoe sighed. They both got into the SUV, the ride being silent.

Junhoe dropped Jinhwan off at his house with a silent goodbye. Jinhwan attempted to smile at Junhoe, but the younger only responded with a broken smile. As soon as Jinhwan entered the house, Junhoe turned off the engine and put his head on the steering wheel. A single tear escaped his eye and he bit his lip. He was truly hurt. But he did what he wanted to do. He just wanted to tell Jinhwan how he felt. He left the situation more empty than when he arrived.

Soon, Junhoe picked himself up and drove home. He remembered that his father wanted him at the office at 5pm - and Chanwoo would be there. He needed someone to talk to at that moment.
