Chanwoo smiled as he saw Junhoe walk towards him. "Junhoe, hi. I was--" He stopped, realizing that Junhoe had tears in his eyes. The slightly shorter male put his head on Chanwoo's shoulder, crying immediately. Chanwoo put an arm around him, allowing Junhoe to cry into his shoulder.

"What happened? We have to go to the boardroom," Chanwoo said.

"I'm just upset," Junhoe mumbled.

"Upset enough to cry in front of a colleague?" Chanwoo frowned.

"Can we talk? We can go to the boardroom later," Junhoe sniffled. He tried his best to look like he wasn't crying, but was barely succeeding. "It's about Jinhwan."

Chanwoo sighed. "Of course."

The two walked to Junhoe's father's office which was unoccupied because he was in the boardroom with Chanwoo's father. They sat on the couch located on the side of the office.

"So what happened?" Chanwoo asked.

"To put it simply, he rejected the hell out of me. He used Hanbin as an excuse," Junhoe replied. "I get him. Hanbin has become a good guy recently, and he's harmless. Jinhwan made him a better person and they're really happy together. It's gonna take a while, but I'm sure I'll forget my feelings soon enough. It took me a while to figure it out, so it should be easy to forget."

"Junhoe, did you love Jinhwan?" Chanwoo asked. Junhoe sniffled and nodded.

"Of course. I've never met someone so perfect for me in my life," he replied, his voice scratchy.

"Then it won't be easy to forget," Chanwoo continued. "If it was meant to be, fate will have a plan. You have to have patience."

"I can't be bothered anymore. What's the point? He loves Hanbin - I'm worth nothing to him now."

"Don't count on that," Chanwoo said. "Come on, we have a meeting to go to. I'll cover for you if you want to go the bathroom."

"No, I'll be fine," Junhoe replied weakly. Chanwoo simply nodded and they left the office to go to the boardroom.
