The school day had finally finished. It was almost as mundane and boring as normal, old public school. The only difference was the people. The teachers, the students...they were all like characters from some bizarre Sit-Com. Each had their own 'quirk', to put it lightly.
There was no way Dean belonged here. A huge mistake was made the moment that police officer opened his mouth. No... a huge mistake was made the moment Dean opened his eyes that god forsaken morning.
Dean sighed and rubbed his forehead as he made his way back to his dorm. It was "free study time" now until dinner. John quickly informed him it was also known as "jack-off hours".
Dean held his breath as he opened his dorm door, but Roy was absent, just like Dean had suspected. He was so mysterious...in the worst way possible.
A pile of Roy's books laid next to his bed, this time it had grown to the size of a small coffee table.
"What the hell are these even for?" Dean crouched down and picked up a few of the books and flipped through them.
None of them had any correlation.
"'Scientific Theories of G.H Conn', ' Fearful Night: A Collection of Short Stories', 'Baby and Me: A Guide to Motherhood'...Why is this even in the library?!" Dean tossed the books down.
"He's so weird...does he actually read all this stuff?"Dean turned his attention to the tape on his bunk. He climbed up onto his bed and held the cassette in his hands. There was nothing especially odd about it.
"First step, get enough merits so I can use the computer headphones..." Dean quietly made a mental list. He pulled the yellow envelope that had the picture in it and emptied the contents onto his lap. The picture as expected fell, and the piece of paper with seemingly random numbers on it.
"Second step, find out whatever the hell this means."
