Life between love and fate

Fighting time

She finished her shopping and went to her home to prepare the dinner. He also finished his work at the office and he is on his way to her home.
When he arrived, he opened the door and searched for her "Serena" where are you .
"Martin": "Serena" where are you?
"Serena": I am here at the kitchen. Come "Martin".
"Martin": What are you doing?
"Serena": I am cooking. Do you want to drink something before dinner?
"Martin": No dear. I will wash my face and my hands.
"Serena": Ok, take your time.
She finished the dinner and they had the dinner together. After dinner, they sit together at the terrace drinking coffee and tea.
(Note that: "Serena" likes coffee and "Martin" likes tea.)
And while they are sitting together, something unexpected happened.
"Serena": "Martin" where is your phone? I want to play the song that we love.
"Martin": It's on the table in the living room.
"Serena": Ok. I will bring it and come again.
"Martin": Ok dear.
Then you can't imagine what happened.
When she held his phone and started to open it, she saw her photos. She can't control herself. She started to cry and run towards him.
When he saw her crying,
"Martin": What happened "Serena"? Why are you crying?
"Serena": (showing him her photos on his phone) Who is she?
"Martin": (Still silence).
"Serena": Why are you silent?
She is your finance. Right?
How can't I expect that?
I saw you at the morning. You seem to be hiding something, but why don't you tell me? Why?
"Martin": Because I don't want to see you in this case because of me. I don't want to be the reason of your sadness. I want to see you happy. You deserve to be happy. I could not keep my promise with you, but I can't bear to see you sad.
"Serena": That's why you act like you are good.
"Martin": At least I have to make you feel happy.
"Serena": What happened?
"Martin": My father called my today morning and said that my engagement with this girl will be in the next month. When I knew this, I didn't know how can I tell you something like this.
"Serena": You had to tell me. By the way, she is beautiful. Congratulations!
"Martin": You are more beautiful than her.
"Serena ": One day you will love her and you will see her the most beautiful girl in the world.
"Martin": Maybe.
"Serena": No. I am sure.
"Martin": I will never forget you. You will always be my life partner. I really love you.
"Serena": We don't have to cross our limits from now. I really can't bear to see you beside her, but sometimes life forces us to do somethings we don't want to do only to see people who we really love being happy.
"Martin": I don't know what I can say.
"Serena": Don't say anything. Just enjoy your new life and leave me alone.
"Martin": I can't leave you alone.
"Serena": But I want to be alone.
"Martin": But I will never leave you alone. I will never allow myself to be the reason of your sadness.
"Serena": (inside her mind) ( You are the source of my sadness, but I cannot hate you. I still in love with you. I just afraid of that one day you stop loving me.)
Don't worry. I am ok. I will never be sad. We are friends as you know.
"Martin": I am lucky to have such a great life partner like you. I don't deserve you. I am really sorry, but nothing is in my hands as you know.
"Serena": Don't say something like this again. You are such a great man. No one in this world can be like you.
And they returned to act again as if they were friends.
They burn inside themselves and they can feel each others, but this is life and they have to accept it on its terms.

The days are very long, boring and barely passing. They know that nothing will change. Only one month and their lives will completely change.
How can they will continue?
That's we will discover together.
"Martin's" days have become very hard. When he thinks about the new girl and the engagement, he feels upset. He also can't forget to think about "Serena" in every moment. What will happen to her? How can she continue her life? He is sure that she will never fall in love again. He knows her well. She is very stubborn. He swears that he will never lose her and he believes that when they act like they are friends is better for them. At least he can reassure on her. She will always be in his heart.

As the day approaches, she dies inside her and he can't imagine his new life.
Unfortunately, they have to surrender to reality.
Days go on and their lives become difficult. They don't meet or chat or do anything like before.
Each one tries to make the other stable.
They know that they cannot do anything, so they try to help each others. They don't even know how to start their new lives. They can't imagine also how their relationship will change.
Each one has fears inside him. How hard is the life ?
How can it make them meet with each others and separate them now?
Why can everything change in one minute? And why them?
And lots of questions between "What" and "Why" and so on , but nothing will change even if they found the answers.
