Jisoo

Monday morning arrived a little too soon. I certainly didn't want to get out from the warmth of my blanket engulfing my body. I groaned as I finally hit the snooze button on my alarm clock. I didn't want to see Sunni or neither of the Kim brothers, but I had to turn in my letter of resignation. I had it written the morning following our encounter at the bar where I worked on Friday night. I got up to shower and brush my teeth and got ready to head to work for my last day.

When I arrived, I ran into Jin by the elevators. He was waiting for the lift and I went to stand behind him. I know he saw me, but he didn't bother to greet me like how he usually did in the past. I was a little hurt by this and my heart was yearning to hear his voice. All I wanted was a simple 'Hello' or 'Good Morning Jisoo' but nothing came out of his mouth. Memories of Friday night choose to invade my mind at this moment and it just troubled me even further. I couldn't change his judgment of me. It will probably only make him despise me more if I was consistent and kept pestering him about the smoking incident.

Once the elevator opens, he steps in first followed by several others who arrived shortly after I did. I went in last but squeezed my way into the back corner. I needed to be as far away as possible from Jin. I was glad it wasn't just Jin and me in the elevator because things could have gotten awkward.

The elevator door almost sealed shut, but a large hand moved in between the two doors and caused the sensor to open the door back up. The large hand belongs to none other than Kim Taehyung. He walks in and notices Jin. He gave his brother a quick wave and was about to stand next to him when he did a double-take in my direction. I drop my gaze down onto the floor before closing my eyes to internally pray that he didn't see me. I hope that he would stay in the front with Jin. But luck wasn't on my side because soon I felt a presence next to me.

"Jisoo, Good morning!" His deep voice calls out a little too cheerfully to me.

I could only let a bitter fake smile to answer him.

"Aren't you going to say greet to your Oppa?"

Everyone, except Jin, turned their heads in our direction and they all looked as appalled as I was. I rolled my eyes at Taehyung before glaring at the younger brother whose grin was only getting wider.

"I will not call you Oppa, Mr. Kim Taehyung," I silently hissed back to him through my clenched teeth, trying my best to only speak so that Taehyung could hear me.

"Why not? We were supposed to help each other, right?" He speaks out loud as if to irritate me even more than I already was. It was as if he wanted me to remember our talk from last Friday night. I wanted to forget everything about that day, but Taehyung was not letting me. His words from that night run through my mind and clear as a bell.

'You want him, just as much as I want Sunni. We can support each other to get what we both truly want. How about it? Are you willing to help me break Jin Hyung and Sunni apart?'

I shook the memory out of my head while replying to answer him.

"I never said I was going to help you."

This whole conversation suddenly got uncomfortable for me. Jin was in the same elevator as Taehyung and me, but here was his younger brother, openly asking me to assist him in snatching his older brother's girlfriend in his presence. I'm 100% sure Jin has heard our discussion. He just doesn't know the precise detail of his younger brother's plea for help.

Taehyung leans against the back of the metal elevator and crosses his arms across his chest and that stupid grin on his face wouldn't leave.

"Never say never Jisoo. I want to be your Oppa and you will call me Oppa sooner or later.  And I know you will end up helping me. I'll wait patiently for that day to arrive."
