Jax, Dot, Axil and I walk around the hills near West Street. The place where all the new children are born. The sky is dark and gloomy thanks to the pollution. I look down at the street not to far. It stretches 5 miles long and each child's face i see looks in despair. The Nuns raise them. The good Aries people who care about the future. They ruin the children causing them to end up like everybody else. Anyway, We start going downhill and there's a shoreline not to far.
"There it is, look at that vast place we will never get to see." Jax said putting his arms behind his head "Who I would fight to get to Leo island."
"Yeah cause' you'd fight a Leo. Have fun getting executed." Axil said. Oh, that's one thing i forgot to say. If you get caught breaking any of the rules, the Leo's tie you up and drown you. A terrible death but its how we stay on our islands.
We sit down and not too long later a white smoke cloud appears in the distance. That's the 'Life Boat' as we call it. Its a black and red boat with gold stripes on it that goes to one island to the next. As it approaches closer, we could hear the cries of babies. An awful sound truly but id be upset too if i was ripped from my mothers arms and sent to some hell spawn of an island like this one. A pity really.
"There it is. Those cries get me all the time." Dot said twirling his hair "I hear we have a few batches of twins on this boat, Probably a bundle of triplets too. They're lucky."
"They'd be even more lucky if they went to Taurus island at least." I said "Besides, Its not their fault."
The boat finally reaches the dock just outside of West Street which is blocked off my fences. Itll be there for the next hour or so to transfer children off the boat and children who were born since the Aries time period ended onto the boat.
People with bright gold hair and a few with blue shirts on carry babies in Blue and Pink onesies with the word "ARIES" on them off the boat while they throw fits. A few children born within the past few days are also being transferred onto the boat to go to the next island, They're wearing the same onesies but with a different word on it.
"A shame really." Jax said "Welp, in a few years ill be taking all their coins."
We watch closely at the people. Something catches my eye though. One of the Leo's has their hood up. I kept my eye on them as they walk and hand the little baby girl they were carrying over to a nun. They talked for a second and they didn't return back to the ship, but rather headed down West Street kind of in the alleys.
"Hey guys, Look at that. One of the Leo's gone mad?" I said pointing to this figure
"Wanna go greet them?" Jax said grinning
"You fucking know it!" Dot said jumping up and we all bounded down the hill. This Leo has no idea what's coming.
