Jax, Dot, Axil and I hurry down the hill. The sky is still all dark and thanks to the hot ship sitting in the cold water, steam is everywhere. We make it down to the fence and begin to follow this Leo who knows the alleys pretty well, but if they think they know how to get out, they're wrong.
This rouge Leo is sorta short, shorter then me and I'm 5'4. Theres no way a child could've been on that ship, or a female no doubt. Only men are aloud on the ships, sexism at its finest. We follow the figure for a little while longer until they stop at a building with a few bricks fallen off it. We knew what this Leo was gonna do.
He grabbed the holes in the wall and began climbing up the building, the building is slightly taller then the brick wall with Iron bars so you can see in and out but you cant leave. They reach the top and stretch their little arm out a little and grip the edge of the wall. They jump on top of the wall and luckily didn't see us watching from not to far away. They reached down to grab a bar but couldn't reach it so they kind of fell a little but that allowed them to grab a bar. They slid down the bar and set foot on Aries Territory. This is our house now.
We jumped up from our little hiding place and the Leo spotted our dark clothes and didn't move. We kind of jogged over, they didn't look threatened or anything but rather confused. We got a little closer and we were able to see their face a little better.
A little boy, no older then 12. His hair was a dusty blonde and his eyes were hazel. He had a skinny little neck but big cheeks. A cute boy. We slowed down a little and slowly spread ourselves away from each other. Jax started to shuffle to the right silently ant Dot to the left. Axil stayed behind a little and I was left in the Center.
"Lost little boy?" I asked the child
"No, I'm not! I know exactly where I am." He said confidently puffing his chest out. I chuckled.
"You know where you are? Do you know who you are? I can tell you if you want, You're a Leo on Aries island. Why would such high class people want to be with us lower class people?" I said, quietly getting a little closer.
"I'm not a Leo, I'm a Sagittarius! My parents are Leo's though. That's why I look like one." He said looking at me up and down "You look like a Sagittarius, Not like an Aries."
"Cause my parents live on that island, not a hard concept to grasp." I said glancing over at Jax who was completely behind the little boy now "What's your name little boy?" I asked, Its important to keep your name a secret on this island but look how fast I broke that rule.
He puffed his chest out and stood up tall "I am the great and bold Zechariah Redd!" He said proudly. I frowned "Whats yours?" He asked
"Oh, Okay??? I'm not even gonna try and pronounce your name and just call you Zee because Zacheriah is a mouthful." I said, now I'm about a foot in front of him "My name is Jay." I decided to lie to this boy, who knows what could happen if I told him my real name. I step forward "What are you doing here?" I ask Zee
"I wanted to explore, I wanted to meet my parents. I thought I was headed to Leo island but instead I ended up here. I don't know how." He said looking around
"Did the babies with the word 'ARIES' spelled out on their chests not give it away?" I sassed
He puffed his cheeks out "When I saw all the Leo's getting off i decided to as well." He pouted. I shook my head.
I looked behind Zee at Jax and nodded, This child clearly needed help. Jax wrapped his huge arms around the small child and picked him up. H kicked and whined but Dot jumped up and shut his mouth so no one would hear us. Wow, our first collective kidnapping! How fun! I smiled and pointed back at the city.
"To Dot's place, its the best for keeping a child from another island without us getting caught and killed. He might be useful in the future." We all collectively walked back to the city, taking the main roads only because Aries people are edgy and like the alleys so no one uses the main roads often.
We get to the back part of the city, this is Dot's neighborhood. Its a little nicer, he actually has a place to stay unlike Jax and I. Like I mentioned earlier, I live in a tent. Jax lives on top of a roof somewhere. He's constantly moving. Anyway, we walk up to this small little storage closet, Kinda like the ones you'd find on a roof that have the stairways in them leading down to the building. We open the door and to our surprise a staircase! We walk down it only to find a small room with dim lights, a little fire off in the corner, a bed that hangs off the wall next to it, and a wall full of knives. Dot is a knife person. Off to the right there is a separate door that is just a little closet, it has all his edgy clothes in it.
Jax sets the child down next to the fire and dot removed his hands from Zee's mouth. He didn't say a word, just sat there.
"Alright, Raise your hand if you think this is a bad idea?" Axil said from behind slowly raising his hand "We could get executed for this, hell, we would've been executed 4 times already today! My parents are gonna kill me..."
I whipped around and slapped his arm "Stop being a pussy, your parents wont find out if you don't tell them OR the Chasers. Now calm down and focus." The Chasers are the police here and on all the other islands, they really only watch big groups of people and stay toward the center of town where most the fights happen.
Axil stepped away for a second and regained himself and looked forward. I turned back at the boy "Can you help us get off this island?" I asked straight forward. Should have asked my friends if this was a good idea but I'm sick of this place and I know they are too.
He replied "Yes."
