Many months after elevator incident...

The two boys decided not to tell the others. They were enjoying their private moments, and the honeymoon stages of their relationship. At first the two thought it would be hard to keep such a big secret, but then they remembered that saving the universe took a lot of time and effort, so the others were almost always exhausted. What they didn't know was that even if the team didn't know they were dating, sometimes the others would notice a tender look or a small touch between the red and blue paladins. The other paladins smiled when this happened, excited at the small changes they were witnessing between the two.

The castle was booming, which was a nice change for Allura. She missed it back in the old days when the castle's rooms were bustling with activities and filled with people. The conference was a big deal. The Voltron team had just saved a planet from the Galra. This planet had remained untouched by the warships until a week ago when a rare mineral was discovered high in the mountain forests. The race of aliens was peculiar to the humans from Earth, only in the way that they were exactly the same except for the iridescent blue glow to their skin. Even their planet was odd but strangely familiar. The sun was a blue star, so the planet had a constant blue hue and the two moons were gigantic and were shaped like two crescents facing opposite from each other. After Voltron saved the planet, the aliens wanted to show thanks, and Allura reluctantly gave in and invited them to throw a party in her home.

Keith was fuming in the corner. He had been watching all night but didn't want to make a scene. So, he kept his mouth shut, but silent anger rolled off of him. Lance's attention had been captured by one of the many dancers that had performed at the start of the party. None of the other paladins thought much of it, just Lance being a regular flirt, but Keith couldn't believe his boyfriend. After a while he simply just left, knowing if he stayed any longer it wouldn't be pretty.

Lance looked down at the girl in front of him, she was sweet, talking about the planet's oceans and all the festivals centered around the water. He hadn't noticed Keith in the corner and continued to talk explaining what his oceans were like on Earth. She laughed at a story about his brother surfing faze and took a long drink from some drinks that Coran had passed around. Lance had mixed feeling about the pale green liquid in the cup. The first time he had tried Altean alcohol, it was horrible. The next time wasn't so bad. Honestly, it was a game of chance, it would either be horrible, not bad, or the most wonderful thing you've ever tasted. This one fell under not bad. He had a couple of them before noticing a red cropped jacket slinking out of the room.

Excusing himself from his female acquaintance, he followed after Keith. It took him longer than he would have like, the aliens thanking him and trying to snag him into playing a game, trying some food, or accepting gifts. Trying to be polite, he brushed them off as best as he could and finally reached the hallway Keith had disappeared into. He signed, knowing exactly where the boy would be. Seriously what was with Keith and training? Lance understood having hobbies to relieve stress, but it seemed more like an obsession than a hobby. There were other things Keith could do to get his mind off things, Lance being one of the things he could do.

Lance reached the training room, but Keith didn't notice him. He was fighting the bot, and Lance took a moment to admire his boyfriend. He was graceful like a panther, and with that black hair, he looked like one. Keith was extremely skilled with his sword and had the bot defeated in no time. He took a moment to catch his breath, turning when Lance began a slow clap behind him.

"Nice job," Lance smiled genuinely. "But you should be downstairs right now, ya introvert."

Lance expect a response. A snide remark, a smile, a blush at the praise, but nothing. Keith put his Bayard away calling off the training sequence and walked past Lance, heading for the small room beside the training arena that had some towels and a stock of water. Confused, Lance called after him and quickly followed. Keith was rubbing his face with a towel, his back stayed turned even when Lance tried to talk to him.
