A man stood at the center of the football field, taking out a microphone and shushing the surrounding thousands of students.

"I'd like to formally welcome all of you students, Freshmen to Senior, to the Elite Private Academy for Young Royalty, better known as "T.E.P.A.Y.R." by our students here. I'm your headmaster, Elliot. After a quick rundown of the rules and what's expected of you all, I'll send some of our most trustworthy Senior students to give groups of Freshmen tours of the campus!" The headmaster, Elliot, said. His voice was amplified greatly by his microphone in his hand, and without it, no one would be able to hear him. Ash and Jax were in the middle of a conversation when Valerie interrupted.

"So, Ash, what are your hobbies?" Valerie asked. Ash looked past Jaxon to see her.

"I actually quite enjoy swimming, but that might just be a mermaid thing," Ash replied, giggling. Valerie looked at her in amazement.

"You're a mermaid?" She asked. Ash looked at her funny.

"Yeah? I mean, I wear clothing from mermaid fashion lines and I have scale patches around my stomach and knees." Ash said, pointing to the patches of scaliness on her skin. Valerie looked at them and raised her eyebrows.

"Huh, I didn't see those before.." She said, looking back down at Headmaster Elliot.

"So, the rules here at T.E.P.A.Y.R are veryy simple." Headmaster Elliot began. Ash started to tune him out as she continued talking to Jax and Valerie.

"So, Jax, how's Aqualius?" Ash asked. He looked over at her, smiling.

"It's doing pretty we--" He was quickly cut off by Valerie shoving him backward to talk to Ash.

"Hey, Ash, do you have any social media accounts I can follow you on?" The very pink girl asked. Ash was taken aback but nodded. Valerie immediately whipped out her cellphone, decorated very similarly to her dress with a crown and pink bow phone charm on it. 

"So, what do you have?" Valerie asked, getting all up in Ash's face. 

"Uh, I have-" Ash was cut off by the loud voice of the Headmaster.

"And that concludes our orientation! Please look at the number on your seat and head to the tour guide holding the corresponding number, thank you and have a good day!" Headmaster Elliot shouted. Ash stood up and saw a thirteen on her seat. Valerie and Jax's seats both did as well. 

"I guess we're all going to tour guide thirteen, then," Jax said. Valerie shuffled through to get to their tour guide, Jax and Ash following close behind. They came to a tall boy with brown hair in a really fuckboy-looking style. He had the most beautiful natural look with the cutest outfit. Ash squealed.

"Hii, my name is Davey, and I'm going to be your tour guide today! I'm going to wait until the rest of the students come before I begin, so just chat for now!" Davey said gleefully. Ash ran up to him, Valerie following close behind. 

"Hi! My name is Ash, I was wondering, where do you get your makeup from?" Ash said, finally reaching Davey. Davey smiled gleefully and was about to answer when Valerie snatched Ash's arm and pulled her back. 

"Ash, are you sure you wanna take makeup tips from uh.. Him?" Valerie put extra emphasis on 'him'. Ash raised an eyebrow.

"Uh, yeah? Why?" She asked. Valerie leaned in close.

"Because he's a boy!" Valerie hissed. Ash backed up.

"Okay? Look at him, he's gorgeous. I wanna know where he got his makeup from." Ash said. She turned around to talk to Davey again but he had begun the tour. Ash and Valerie dashed over to catch up. They ran into the crowd but were pushed apart because of how many people were around. Ash ended up bumping into someone. She spun around to see a girl with brown hair and a dark purple dress with black boots.

"Err.. Hello." The girl said. Ash looked at her.

"Hi! I'm Ashlynn Manara of Mariana, but I'd appreciate if you called me Ash." She said to the girl.

"I'm Erika Tuliypio of Geduio. Nice to meet you." The girl responded, shaking Ash's hand. The two locked arms and stuck together the rest of the tour.

As the tour ended, Ash caught a glimpse of Jaxon and Valerie. She dragged Erika and greeted her other two friends.

"Hey, guys!" Ash said cheerfully. Valerie looked over and ran up to her, hugging her.

"We thought you were deadd!" Valerie shouted, sobbing. Ash pushed her onto the ground.

"This is Erika, we were hanging out during the tour." Ash said, pushing Erika in front of her. Jax walked up and greeted Erika happily. Valerie heaved herself up, grabbing Ash by the arm and leaning in towards her ear.

"Are you sure you wanna be friends with her? She's kinda.. Dark. And tomboyish." Valerie whispered. Ash pushed her off.

"What the heck, Valerie? First Davey, now this? It's fine, the world is all about being different." Ash said while walking over to Jax and Erika. Valerie pouted but followed her.
