It's the day of my moms funeral, I'm putting on a loose black summer dress. Jayden surprises me, He hugs me from behind, loosely draping his arms on my stomach, I drape my hands on his "I'm scared" I joylessly say "It'll be okay, I will be there with you the whole time" he assuredly says. I turn around and smile "why wouldn't you be?" he just goofily smiles.
After the funeral my childhood friend Katie and her boyfriend -Jaydens college friend- Jack walk over to us, I gently put my hand on my stomach as I feel a small wave of pain, Jayden notices and gingerly takes my free hand in his. "You two sure are an adorable couple, how was your honeymoon?" Katie notably asks "oh it was astonishing, Jayden built us a house where we had our first date!" I say my mood lifting up as I still have my hand on my stomach.
Katie notices and conspicuously says "are you ok Ava? you've had your hand on your stomach this whole time, and i've noticed you've gained A LOT of pounds" I raise my eyebrows smile, and say "oh, I'm so sorry I totally spaced on telling you and Jack, but I'm about 3 months pregnant"
Katie and Jack both loudly gasp and say at the same time "What?!" Jake smirks "wow you two didn't waste time at all" "oh...my...god... we need to go shopping, and buy clothes, and we need to plan when I can see my goddaughter or godson and" I cut Katie off "wow your so excited, but I'm really tired and need some rest" They both nod.
Right as Jayden and I are about to leave "wait"Katie says like someone just died in front of us "Jack and I are... ENGAGED!!" she says ecstatically. I go over to Katie and hug her as I say "oh my god I'm so thrilled for you guys, whens the date?" "It's actually in 3 months!" she jumps up and down "we'll send you the invite, ok?" Katie cheerfully says "ok, we'll see ya." Jayden and I get home, I go up and lay on our bed, my dreams quickly whisking me away.
I wake up to the sound of my alarm, I turn it off and turn over, I find myself in Jaydens arms, I slowly open my eyes seeing Jaydens gorgeous eyes looking at me, I give him the goofiest smile and he returns it back then lightly kisses my cheek
"morning beautiful" "morning handsome" I smirk as I sit up, get out of bed and get dressed. Jayden gets out of bed -he slept without a shirt, I look at his abs and I notice he has a tattoo of my name in cursive by his hips, I walk over to him and laugh "you got a tattoo of my name?" he pulls me into a gentle hug then lets go "yes, you mean so much to me" I chuckle as he pulls a shirt on and changes out of his night pants.
Katie texts me
Morning Ava, I have a question
Morning Katie, what's your question?
Want to go to the lake today? It's a beautiful outside
Of course I will, I wouldn't let you have fun without me
Ok, can I meet you at your place at 1:00 then we go?
Sure, see you in a couple hours
I turn my phone off, I look around the room and Jaydens not there then I smell the delicious smell of bacon, eggs, and french toast. I smile as I walk down to the kitchen, I softly put my hand on Jaydens back and it surprises him as he turns around with a smile. After Jayden and I finish our breakfast and wash the dishes I say "hey, i'm going to meet up with Katie in about 20 minutes and we are going to the beach" Jayden just smiles, nods, and heads back to our room getting ready for work.
I walk into Jayden and I's room and pick out my second favorite swimsuit, since I can't wear my favorite one because i'm pregnant,It's a one piece swimsuit and is all black I put it on as Jayden walks out of the bathroom that's connected to our room, he comes up to me and whistles "damn, you look smokin hot" "aren't I always" I smirk and strut out of the room leaving Jayden drooling over how hot I am.
There's a knock at the door right as I walk out into the kitchen to get a bottle of water, right as I open the door I see Katie literally jumping up and down of excitement "ready to go?" "ya one sec, let me grab my towel real quick" I jog into Jayden and I's room then grab my towel, kiss Jayden on the lips taking him by surprise, and jog out of the house, I get into Katie's black convertible and we drive off toward the beach.
We arrive at the beach...
