It all started when I was young,around the age of 6....
"Bakugo I need you to stay with the Midoriya's a bit."Damn was the old hag busy now."Fine,but don't leave too long."I begrudgingly pack a small case for the time i'll be there.The old woman I call my mother calls my name and takes me into the car.She revs up the engine and starts to drive over there."Katsuki,I need you to behave while I'm gone okay."She's acting all nice at the moment which means it has to be important."Whatever old hag,I'll be fine.I'm old enough to know what to do."She stops the car when we get to our destination and I get out already heading to the door.She just drives off not even saying goodbye,"Tch,I don't need one of those embarrassing goodbyes."I knock at the door expecting Ms Midoriya at the door but all I see is Izuku."Sup."I walk in the living room setting my stuff down."H-Hi Kacchan!"I turn around to see him with that stupid grin of his."Oh Izuku is that Katsuki?"Ms Midoriya finally arrives and looks for me."Well you two play together okay?Be safe!I've got to catch up on paperwork."She leaves so of course,we did what any kids would do.We colored in Izuku's Allmight books,"See Deku!I can color in the lines,while you can't!"I proudly puff my cheeks and cross my arms."Wow Kacchan!That so cool,I wish I could do that..."Midoriya sighs in appreciation at my amazing skills."Well!",think over it a little,"I can help you learn!"Izuku's lips expand into a large toothy grin."Really Kacchan?!Thank you!"He tackles me to the ground in a hug catching me off surprise."HEY CAREFUL!"I try to push him off,my face a scarlet red."Sorry Kacchan!"Izuku giggles and gets off of me."I'm just excited!Can you show me now?"I turn my face away,"Fine whatever,I'll show you.Just don't do that again without telling me!"I point at him trying to get my point across only to see his idiotic cute smile again."Whatever you say Kacchan!"
It was a little after that that I started to develop my quirk...becoming more selfish by time.I had started to bully Izuku calling him the name,'Deku',even going as far to physically hurt him....
"YOU STUPID DEKU!"I started to flare up the explosions in my hand getting ready to hit Deku.Deku cowered and cried,"I'm sorry Kacchan!I won't do it again I promise!"
That's basically what would happen most of the time.I was idiotic,stupid,dumb,and blind.I was blind to his pain,the anguish I caused him.It diminished his flame,Hell it was only until the incident with the sludge villian that he started to get better.And when I found out he was able to make it to U.A with me I was pissed.Pissed i wasn't the best,mad at Deku for making my achievement worthless that even he could do it.It was only this year I decided to stop being stupid and blind.I tried being a bit more mellow just for the heck of it.I honestly remembered everything I did with Deku when we were kids.I wish I could've made it up to him now.I was too caught up in my self obsession that I completely ignored the person I adored.....someone who made me smile with no effort.I let everything consume me until it was too late....
I start walking to school when I hear these two girls gossiping.One practically yells to the other,"Hey did you hear that a student from U.A jumped off the school building?They haven't announced who it was yet.."
Wait,What the fuck,who the Hell would do that?Do you think it'd be any of those idiots in my class?I start speedwalking to the school ignoring whatever else they said.wonder who the Hell it could be......this,this is totally out of character for me,Bakugo Katsuki,to 'worry' about another person.But Hell,I was curious to find out who killed themselves.I finally get to the school only to see crimson red bloodstains on the opening doors of the school.I get to class hearing everyone with a solemn face.Noticing Deku was absent I call to his friend,"Yo gravity bitch,where's Deku?"I growl to round face.She seems panicked and is seriously tearing up."H-He's gone..."I stop in my tracks,eyes widening,but compose myself and growl again."The Hell do you mean he's gone?!"Gravity girl stands up and yells at me,"HE JUMPED OFF THE BUILDING!!ALL BECAUSE HE COULDN'T STAND IT ALL!HE'S DEAD!!"Her tears stream down her face at a rapid pace,she stops to take a breath." IZUKU IS GONE!"She finally breaks down and Tenya comes to her side comforting her.I stay there standing with one of the stupidest and weakest expressions ever.I throw all my stuff down and walk out.Tears threaten to spill out of my eyes,why the hell am I feeling this way?!It's not like I even care for the idiot....or did I..
Three days later I attended his funeral.Inko was in a terrible state when we got there.My mother had to comfort her,and not even that could stop her wails of agony.Watching him being lowered,six feet underground and covered with dirt.He deserved so much more.
I walk up to the open casket looking at his peaceful face.Is he really dead or just sleeping?I stare at his freckles,his green hair,those eyes that made my day better.Why couldn't I be there for him?Why am I so useless,I could've fucking helped him!I start to sob loudly not caring if everyone else heard."DEKU GODAMNIT!WAKE UP,YOU CAN'T BE DEAD!IT'S NOT POSSIBLE!YOU SAID YOU'D BECOME THE NUMBER ONE HERO,BE LIKE ALMIGHT!AND THIS IS WHAT YOU DO?!"I bang the casket denying the fact he's gone.I caress his face wishing he would wake up with that stupid smile of his and say,'It's okay Kacchan.'I had to be dragged off his casket and restrained in a chair,my yells filling the air with sobs....
"Deku,I'm so sorry i could be there for you.I'm sorry i was a major dick for all these years.I'm so sorry,I didn't do anything.But we'll be together soon,sooner than you think."I wipe the tears I barely noticed coming down and give a small smile.Now that I noticed,the view on this edge is very beautiful.The lake underneath,the water so blue,the grass so green,the sun with those many colors.I stand up,turn my back towards the cliff and smile."Izuku Midoriya,I love you."I laugh with a big grin as I fall backwards off the cliff into the water.I'm coming with you nerd.
