Chapter One
Samantha
The sweat was trickling down my forehead because of the summer heatwave here in Alabama. I wasn't used to this heat, living in Chicago the heat was never this bad. I was starting classes in 4 days at the University of Alabama, studing Nursing.
Mom and dad had insisted they were coming with me to help me move my stuff into my dorm room but I had told them I could do it by myself. I didn't bring to much stuff but enough to help me through until the christmas holidays when I would go home to see Mom and Dad and spend thanksgiving with them. I pulled up in my new BMW that my parents had got me. I pulled my phone off the charger and exited the car quickly wanting to get to this dorm room so I could meet my new roomate. I am exhausted from driving 10 hours straight. i decided I would leave my stuff for later not that i had that much anyway.
As I walked towards my dorm room in Klavier Hall, I pulled my cell phone out and text mom and dad to let them know I was here safely.
"Watch out!" shouted a male voice in the distance behind me. I reluctantly turned around to see what all this commotion behind me.
SMACK!!!
A hard football hit me straight in the face knocking me flat. My cell phone flew straight out of my hand. Oh for the love of God did this have to happen to me on my first day of being here. As I reached up to check if my nose was not broken or anything else for that matter, a pair of scruffy black boots came at a stand still right infront of my face on the grass.
" Hey darling, sorry about that I did shout though" came a husky voice from above me.
I glanced up for a quick second to check out who this moron was that hit me with football. Oh my God!my mouth went dry as a piece of cardboard. I clambered to my feet as quick as possible. There in front of me stood a guy who looked like he could be on the front of next model magazine. He had dark brown eyes that could melt your heart , tanned skin, muscular toned body and brown hair.
His eyes looked my 19 year old self up and down. I wasn't much to look at to be honest, I had long wavy light brown hair with dip-dyed blonde ends, fair skin, brown eyes and I was a slim build. Today I wasn't wearing anything to fancy just a red and white sundress covered in small flowers and gladiator sandals that cut off at the ankle. My hair up in a braid and I wore barely any makeup just a bit of mascara.
"I am truely sorry about that there darling" said brown eyes infront of me.
Goodness this guy is beautiful, jeez catch a grip of yourself Sam this guy is a total douchebag like who does he think he is calling you darling?
" You seem it" I gritted out through a tight fake smile. He give me a smirk and then a quick dazzling smile.
" Sorry thought I had shouted loud enough but obviously girls like you can't hear me" he said with a smirk on his face. I wanted to slap it straight off him.
"What do you mean 'Girls like me'" ?
" You know darling, girls who live in their own little world and think their better than everyone else " he said quick off the mark.
Jeez this guy is an ass, he doesn't even know me. He is full of himself. I cant be assed fighting today and especially with this asswipe!
" Ass and stop calling me darling!" I glared at him before I stomped off towards Klavier Hall. I was halfway there when I felt a calloused hand grip my bicep.
"Wait up darling I didn't catch your name" he said with that crazy ass smirk.
Oh God to think I liked this guy before.
" My name is extremely irrelevant to you" with that I ran up the steps to Klavier Hall before I swiped my key card I quickly risked a glance at him. I thought he might have moved but no there he was in that exact spot staring straight at me. When I caught his gaze, he give me a smirk and turned around walking over to a group of guys over at the far end of the car park. I flipped him the finger to his back and swiped me card.
Who is this guy?
