The next day, I wake up at 6am and jump in the shower before Megan. I am exhausted from sitting up all night talking to Meg and laughing at all her funny stories about her in High school.

Whilst I am washing my hair, I start to sing 'Classic' by MKTO 

"One of a kind, living in a world gone plastic. Baby you're so Classic" , just as I'm turning into full diva moment I hear a banging on the door. I listen a little bit harder and realise it is someone kicking the door.

" What, can't you see I am busy in here" I say laughing because my singing sounds like a cat screeching it's not pleasent. 

" Sorry about that Sam, I thought I should come see if you are okay, sounded like someone was dying in here!" Megan shouted to me through the closed door with a hint of laughter in her voice.

" Oh haha laugh it up I know I can't sing" I shout back.

Today is my first day of classes so I am pretty excited about it. I get out of shower and change in a pair of denim jean shorts and white lace top that flares out around the waist with my favourite pair of golden gladiator sandals. I blow dry my hair and through it up in a high ponytail and put on my full makeup cause I don't want to look like a full mess on my first day of classes.

Megan is looking gorgeous as ever in white shorts with a black and white stripped top and a pair of well wore converse showcasing her long tanned legs. God I envy this girl so much.  

Megan and I have classes around the same time on Mondays so we decide we will walk together. Its 10 am and we have just exited the Klavier Hall and we are walking across the car park.

"What time does you class end at cause I was thinking we could meet up for lunch at the little cafe just outside of campus?" Megan asks with her usual big smile. 

"Mine ends at 12pm so we could meet up then if you are free, I'm not really sure where this cafe is though" I reply with a confused look on my face.

"Mine ends around the same time as yours, sure why don't come wait outside my classroom and we will walk there together" says Meg.

"Okay sounds great so meet you outside the engineering row at around 12pm" I say

"That sounds about right, see you at 12" with that Megan heads the other direction from me.

When I get to class I pick a seat and get settled in by pulling out all my books and pens ready to take notes. 

The door opens and in walks the professor and a young girl around my age trailing behind him. She quickly scans the room for a seat and sees a seat beside me, she smiles and begins her trek up the steps to where I am seated.

The girl is beautiful. She has a small frame. round about my height, long flowing dark brown hair, olive skin and big green eyes. Shes wearing a white lace sundress with cowboy boots and she works that look like no one else. She sort of looks familar to me.

"Hi, do mind if I sit here?" the girl asks with a smile.

"No no I don't mind have a seat, Sam by the way" I say politely.

"Izzy and thanks" she says and takes a seat.

I chat to Izzy a bit more and I find out she is born in  Alabama and she is a freshmen like me, she has a brother that goes here as well and he is a junior. 

Omg why is this class like a lifetime long?

I glance at the clock and it reads 11am meaning I have been here for an hour. I look around the classroom and everyone seems to be as uninterested as I am. I extending my hand out  and focus on the clock, fast forwarding the time to 12pm. 

DING! 

Yes theres go the bell, thank God. 

"Hey Izzy, my friend Meg and Me are heading to a little cafe outside of campus now, would you like to join us?" I ask, I really want to learn a bit more about Izzy and would like Megan to get to know her as well.

"Oh are you sure Sam? " Izzy  asks with a worried look on her face.

"Yes of course I am, please come" I say genuinely.

"Um okay then thank you" Izzy replys with a big broad smile. I send Meg a text asking her if it is okay if Izzy comes with us and she replys with a smiley face and yes of course.

Izzy and I chat and laugh the whole way over to the engineering row. Meg doesn't get out until 12:15 so we will have to wait for 5 minutes.

"Oh hey my brother does engineering as well" exclaimed Izzy.

DING

There goes the bell meaning Meg is getting out anytime around now. 

" Oh really maybe Meg will know him" I reply. I glance up at the door just as Meg walks out. " Theres Meg there" I say as I waved to Meg, she waves back and walks over to us.

"Hi you must be Izzy I'm Meg", Meg embraces Izzy in a hug. 

Not just me she is forward with.

"Hi Meg nice to meet you!" Izzy smiles at Meg and turns to me giving me a questioning look and I respond with a shrug of my shoulders.

Hey, I didn't know she was going to be so forward.

All 3 of us turn and walk towards the door towards the cafe. Just when we reach the door, Izzy is yanked back and spun around.

"ISABELLA!" shouts the person swinging her round in a full circle.

" How many times have I told you not to call me that and just call me Izzy" she says whilist embracing a guy who is laughing but I can't make out who it is as they have their back to me. 

" These are my 2 new friends Sam and Meg" Izzy says gesturing to Meg and I. 

The guy slowly turns around and I soon realise who the guy is. 

Austin Cole.

He raises his hand and waves at us both but keeping his eyes glued to mine.

Please tell me Izzy is not dating this douche!

"Sam, Meg I would like you to meet my brother, Austin" Izzy says smiling up at him. 

Wait back up there BROTHER.

"Hi" Meg and I say at the same time, but Meg is louder than mine. Mine is like a whisper.

"Which one of you's is Sam again" Austin asks with a smile. Now I know why Izzy looked familar, she has the same smile as Austin.

" I am" I say after about 5 minutes, not actually but it felt that long. Austin gives me that annoying smirk of his and glances at Izzy.

"Where you heading,  I was thinking I could take you out for lunch long time no see sis" Austin says.

"Austin I saw you about a week ago and I can't Sam actually already invited me out for lunch with her and Meg"  Izzy explains apologetically.

"Aw well mind if I come" Austin asks whilist giving me a hopeful look.

Not happening Buddy for as long as I live.

"Sure" Meg pipes in.
