Parents?!

Since Calli has went into the lab, Ari has been walking around the halls, worried out of their mind. They are going to the training room to let off steam. When the simulation loaded up, it was a forest, a snowy forest. A panel in front of Ari appeared telling them their mission.

It was to infiltrate and eliminate a camp of hunters using laser weapons. This was a new simulation. But it was a 4 star difficulty out of 5. Ari has finished 5 star missions before but apparently the simulation system was updated and now the old 5 star simulations were now the 2 star missions.

Ari knew this would be hard on their own but they didn't care. They wanted a distraction. And this is how they do it.

*skips till after the simulation*

Ari walks back to their room and gets in a shower. Washing off all the swear. They get out and dry themselves off and stops.

*Ari's POV*

"Huh?" Turning round I see the door open, I'm standing with only my towel around me. An agent comes in asking to meet me at the therapy room then leaves. "My session isn't till Monday. I wonder why I need to go there."

I quickly shove on a t-shirt, jeans and trainers. Running to the therapy room I first stop off at the lab to check on Calli, she's fine, recovering and looks fine, a bit pale from shock but nothing out of the ordinary.

Getting to the room I quickly feel some strength leave me, remembering that this room weakens powers to a point of almost none. Opening the door I loose my breath, clench my fist and start to get dizzy. In front of me, is the person who I despise the most, my mum. Barely my mum, the person who gave birth to me, and left me and my dad to fend for ourselves. "What the fuck is she doing here!!" I yell without even thinking. I feel myself start to black out, getting dizzier and dizzier. Anger building inside and I feel it winning against my calmness. I feel a pain in back, near where my tail is. Everything goes black.. things start fading in and out of my vision, I hear screams. Then nothing..
