Money and greed indeed can be the root causes of evil. Even amidst all the successes that the Jeon family had greatly achieved together in life, the master of the house was completely changed it surprised Lady Young-Mi at times. She understood that with middle age onwards to seniority, also came changes in behavior and well-being to her dearest husband. Father Bae's leadership not just inside the house but even at the company became firmer and sterner. His presence alone made every worker fulfill his duties to the fullest demandingly, so as not to disappoint the CEO. When things never went his way, he would call the managing supervisor and reprimand him for his staff's undignified progress. He was still a forgiving man, yet he continued to hold grudges against those on top who stepped on the company's way, unlike the previous years in the past where he could forget mistakes and moved on. Lady Young-Mi had to stand by her husband and continue to watch over him and his looking after the business. She was fully aware of the demands that lied behind Jeon Holdings, because it was all thanks to them after all that they were able to provide greener pastures to families that populated the entire new island that they had developed, and provided stability and progress to their neighboring business partners across the world. With such demands came time that poor JungJae-Hwa was left behind. The young girl had no choice but to continue behaving wisely and be a good girl in school and at home, instead of pressuring Lady Young-Mi and Master Bae by acting rebellious behind her parents' backs like what most students in school did. She understood that her beloved parents worked hard not only for the benefit of their family, but also to provide a better welfare for all families in the City of Pearl. She too understood changes in her father's behavior and temperament. That was why, she needed to stand firm. The only way to make him proud of her was to maintain good grades as a top student in Seoul National University High School Department, continue to be a diligent SSC President, perform to her full best as a Performing Arts Guild member and fought strongly for the school's victory at the National Debate Competition this morning at the Pearl Convention Center in the city.
This may be JungJae-Hwa's fifth debate experience, but it was her first time to compete nationally as a High School representative of Seoul National University. It was sad to say, that her eldest brother Jonghyun recently called her last Monday to tell her that he needed to watch over her niece and nephew in the house, because her sister-in-law Shin-Hye eonni, was in Scotland attending a medical seminar with the Administration Team. So he couldn't be present to watch her debate. Much more with Jungkook, who Jae-Hwa never hoped to be there for her, considering his worldwide popularity and demands of being a KPop idol. Lady Young-Mi also informed her last week, while Jae-Hwa was seated on the carpeted floor helping her dear mother prepare her parents' clothes in the luggage at the couple's bedroom, that both her and Master Bae needed to flew to Dubai for an important business meeting with the royal family, who wished to merge business ties with Jeon Holdings permanently.
