Hey guys, I hope you'll give this new story just as much love as the other one!! xx Enjoy the first chapter!

The sun was setting beautifully over the city of Seoul, cascading its color upon the sky with a deep blushed pink and an almost blood orange color. I watched the sight in front of me as we swung out onto the main road, back to our hotel from Nana's funeral; mom and dad in front and me sprawled out in the backseat.

The funeral had been very beautiful and peaceful since we all knew she was way past her due date, it had been less sad to see her go. Of course, I would still miss her like crazy but it did not feel quite as painful in my heart.

Mom and dad had been discussing the idea of moving back to Korea to be closer to Nana's grave and also because she left her house to us in her will. Besides us, she had no other family and grandpa had died a few years earlier leaving her to herself.

Me, mom and dad had been living in the US for almost all of my life, as they met each other in New York when dad was on vacation and decided to stay there and raise me. This meant that I was only half Korean since mom was a native Caucasian American.

I was very excited about the idea of moving to Korea as I already liked it better here than back in New York. Dad and I had talked about the idea of me being able to finish university in Korea since they had the same program as in New York and I only had about 6 months left before graduating.

I know how this may sound, she lives with her parents, what an incompetent girl. But no, I don't live with my parents, I lived in a dorm at college and would be able to get my own place once we would move to Korea. "I think this will be good for all of us. Starting fresh in a different country." Dad said, eyes fixed on the road as he sped up a tiny bit. Mom and I both agreed with him.

The hotel was quite a long way from the funeral and I soon dozed off. I dreamt that I was Cinderella and I met the prince of my dreams. When we were finally about to kiss, I was awoken by the loud noise of screaming and a crash.

I opened my eyes and saw the car swivel off the road and because it went so fast I had no way to mentally prepare myself and the car hit the guardrail with such a strong force that I felt my arm snap and then everything went black.

Baekhyun's POV:

Strangely there were no cars on the main road today. The boys had sent me grocery shopping as punishment for another one of my pranks that had gone wrong. Chen had punched me in the face by accident and now it seemed that my right eye had swollen a tiny bit.

Over by the guardrail to the left, there seemed to be something wrong. Part of it had been broken off and there seemed to be coming smoke from somewhere further down. I pulled over and sprinted down the small hill where a car had crashed into a big oak tree placed in the middle. I looked in by the windows to see if anyone was there.

Three people seemed to be stuck in there. Quickly I pulled out my phone and dialed the emergency number. The ambulance promised to come within 10 minutes. The car had started to catch on fire; I had to move quickly to get them out of the car before it exploded. The door to the back seat was slightly open and I took the opportunity to save the person in the back first.

When I approached the person, I saw it was a beautiful girl, she did not look Korean though. Her face was bruised and there were several cuts above her eyebrows. The right arm seemed to be bent in a different direction, indicating it was severely broken.

I slowly and gently grabbed her waist and pulled her out. By the movement of her head, it seemed that she was still alive. Next, I carefully pulled out the two people in the front, they looked to be her parents. The woman did not look Korean either, but the man was Korean. I moved them as far away as possible from the car; it would probably explode any minute. Not long after, the ambulance arrived.

They told me all three people were alive because of me and asked me if I wanted to ride in the ambulance where they had placed the young girl. In the heat of the moment, I agreed and left my car behind. On the way to the hospital, I texted Chanyeol telling him about the situation and asking if they could pick up the car.

My heart was racing so fast; right now my wish was to have them all make it and be well. We soon arrived at the hospital and the paramedics rushed the three people inside and told me to wait in the waiting area. I did as I was told and stayed for god knows how long.

"Mr. Byun?" my head shot up when I heard someone call my name. "Ye?" I answered standing up quickly. "The girl was the only one who made it. Her parents were too severely injured and both suffered cardiac arrest." The nurse said while looking down at the ground. Somehow my eyes became watery, I did not even know them but I felt so sad.

Now, this girl had to live her life without her parents. "Can I see her?" I asked walking towards the room never really expecting an answer. "Uhm sure, she's in room 301." The nurse ran behind me trying to reach me but gave up on the way.

The door was half open and I entered quietly. She was still not awake yet; her wounds had been stitched and her arm had been put in a cast. Even just lying in the bed unconscious she was still beautiful. She looked to be around my age. I sat down on the chair beside the bed and studied her face. There was nothing that resembled Korean face structures at all. Her face was sharp; her cheekbones were not as round as a Korean's would be.

Her lips were pink and plump and her nose was quite small. Her hair was a very dark raven color. It was so black that a shade of blue was shining through whenever the light would hit just right. I put my head in my hands to rest a bit.

After a while, my attention was drawn towards the girl as she began stirring in the bed. Her head moved slightly and her lips began opening while she clicked her tongue. Slowly but surely her eyes fluttered open and I noticed that her eyes were as Korean as they could get.

They were a deep caramel brown color with single eyelids. She looked around the room in confusion not grasping what was going on, until her eyes landed on me.
