I had no idea where I was when I woke up in the morning. The room was unfamiliar and I had no idea why my arm was in a cast.

What had happened? This definitely wasn't a room I had been in before. Then there was a knock on the door. "Come in," I called out still confused out of my mind.

The door opened and a familiar face appeared; Baekhyun. Now it all came back to me. I had been in an accident, that's why I was here.

"Hey, you up?" he asked, not even waiting for a reply he stepped inside the room. "Morning," I smiled and sat up slightly in the bed. "Did you sleep well?" He sat down on the edge of the bed and ran a hand through his hair.

"It was so so, can't really lie down properly yet," I replied, using my healthy hand to massage a sore spot on my neck.

"Sorry about that.." he looked to the ground sadly. "No it's okay, you don't have to apologize. It's not like it was your fault," I tried smiling but failed miserably.
It wasn't though, so why was he apologizing?

It's not like it would do any better. My life was a wreck and nothing seemed to be able to fix it at the moment.
"I'm still sorry though," he pouted, then regained himself and stared at me.

"I just wanted to inform you that the boys and I are headed out for today's schedule, so you'll be alone for a while. Will you be ok until we get back? Do you need anything?"

I didn't really have a choice, I'd have to handle myself until then but I couldn't really tell him that walking would be a problem.

"That's cool. I'll be fine, don't worry about me. Maybe when one of you have time this week you can help me get a new computer. It exploded with the car." I said with a shy grin as I began reaching out for my crutch except I didn't even come near with my short arm.

"Here, let me get it for you," Baekhyun grabbed the crutch and handed it to me and helped me up from the bed.
"Thank you."
We walked out into the hallway were the others were waiting for him.

"Good morning, sorry to leave you like this," Suho said with an apologetic look in his eyes. He walked over and gave my shoulders a squeeze.
"It's okay, I'll be fine," I assured him, watching as they all disappeared out of the door.

In fact, I wasn't fine. I was far from fine, but how could I tell them that? I barely knew them and I couldn't leave that kind of burden on them when they were busy with their schedules.

For me to actually move around, I would need to get an automatic wheelchair. I guess things in life shouldn't be too easy?

As best as I could, I limped my way into the kitchen to get some breakfast. As I reached up to get a bowl from the top cupboard, I had a hard time keeping my balance and accidentally supported myself on the bad foot. It hurt so bad that I was shocked and fell to the ground.

I started crying. How was I supposed to get up? I couldn't use my one arm and foot. This was truly a nightmare. How long until they were home again? It could be hours and I would be lying here waiting for them to get home.

It seemed as though I had been lying on the floor for hours when I suddenly heard a voice call out to me. Was I dreaming? Was someone actually here?

"Help..." I whimpered pathetically from the kitchen floor. Then someone appeared in the door to the kitchen. It was a young woman, who was she? She looked familiar somehow.

"You poor thing," she gasped and came to my side quickly, "Are you okay?"

"I fell and now I can't get up," I sniffled as a tear rolled down my cheek.

"Don't worry I'll help you," she said and wrapped an arm around my waist, lifting me up so I could stand on my good foot. She noticed the crutch thrown on the floor and grabbed it for me.

"Let's get you into the living room to sit down," she helped me get to the couch and I sat down, relieved that I had been saved by this angel.

"Who are you anyway? Have we met before?" I asked her curiously, drying my face with the sleeve of the t-shirt I was wearing.

"I'm Kim Jung Ah. Jongin's sister, well Kai I mean. He called me and asked if I could come over to check on you. Luckily I wasn't working today or you could've been lying there all day," she smiled kindly at me and took off her jacket.

"It's nice to meet you Y/n. Jongin has told me a lot about you and how you came here. I'm so sorry for your loss," her sad eyes showed me a kind compassion that made me feel safe in her presence.

"Thank you. It's nice to meet you as well. The boys have been very sweet to me, without them I wouldn't have anywhere to go," I said, releasing a deep sigh and closing my eyes.

"They are good boys. Are you hungry? I'll cook some food for you and then if you want I can go get you some new clothes and toiletries and other things you'd need." Jung Ah said sitting down on the couch next to me.

"You'd do that? It's too much to ask of you..." I was taken aback by her extreme kindness. She would do those things for me? She didn't even know me.

"It's okay, I want to help you. I know what you're going through is not easy, and this is something you deserve. No girl should go through this, any friend of Jongin is a friend of mine," she looked exactly like him, her darker skin and round nose and the slightly thick lips.

"Thank you so much..." I started sobbing, "You're so kind. I'm so lucky that all of you guys want to help me. I couldn't ask for anything more than that. Thank you."

She wrapped an arm around me and gave my shoulders a squeeze, "It's really no problem. I'm happy to help any way I can."

She then turned on the tv, "Let's put this on for you while I go cook something for us," she handed me the remote and left for the kitchen.

I zapped around a little and came upon Knowing Brother. That show was like a religion to my dad.

He watched it whenever he could, even if he only had 5 minutes, he would watch it.

It kind of reminded me of him, he had that same kind of humor as Lee Soogeun, Kim Heechul and the others in the show.

A small smile spread across my lips and I found myself let out a soft giggle.
It felt good to laugh a little.

How will I ever be able to move on and live properly without my parents ?

All the things I'll be missing out on and that they are missing out on.

Who would walk me down the aisle if I ever get married? The kids I'll have will never know their amazing grandparents.

My mind was running wild as I thought about the funeral arrangements and the university.

I just needed to take out my brain for a while and when I was done I could put it back in.

Jung Ah came back a while later with a plate of fried eggs, ham and toast for me.

She sat down beside me with her own plate and we ate the food while chatting a little and watching the tv.

After we finished the meal, the doorbell rang.
Jung Ah went to open it and came back shortly after, with a bag in her hand that looked familiar.

"I think this is supposed to be yours?" She hand me the bag.

Was this all they managed to get from the car? It was my black Nike backpack, which was burnt a few places.

I knew that I only had a few books and a camera in that bag.

When I thought they said they were able to save my stuff, I thought they meant my clothes and that sort of stuff.

What would I have done if Jung Ah hadn't offered to go shopping for me?

Cut out the paper from the books and wear them as a dress?

I was so grateful to Jongin that he even went out of his way to contact his sister to help me out.
