Chapter 4 Goblins Attack

"All right boy you'd better start explaining to us, how in the world you got your money?" Sarah exploded while grabbing Ron's clothes and then lifted him

"Ok! OK! OK! I just killed the little monster and picked up the raw ingredients!"

"You'd better not trying to lie to me, boy!!! I was so sure that you were not strong enough to be able do such thing!" Sarah glared at Ron pretty Intensely...

"PSssst!! Sarah!!!"

"What!? I am investigating this boy Ed!!"

"You should look at this!"

It was the goblin corpse that was killed by Ron earlier.

"What the!?"

"Yes, Sarah it was a goblin corpse. I think the boy is not lying to us. He has killed the monster."

"I told you, I was just doing that! Can I go now? I will go back to my village and please will you not tell them that I was here?"

"BOY!? Who do you think we are?"

"Er... Some adventurers?"

"NO! We are bandits, and we want all your money!"

*Krang* *Krang*

A sudden sound was heard from far away it seemed like a bell sound

"Sarah! We gotta go!"

"What the!?" why so sudden Ed? I am trying to make this boy give up his item!"

"Sarah! We can save it for later. Let's go boy this is quite dangerous. Come with us!?"

The reason Edward was panicked was because of the sound of that bell which had reminded him of what had happened during the day Edward was trained to become a soldier. It was a bad moment he had in his life. He was the only survivor among the soldiers on that day. So for him the goblin matter was so sensitive and made him study all about it. And because of that happening, he was expelled from the soldier training.

"Ed! You scared me!!"

"Calm down Sarah. I am not trying to scare you or something. The goblins were calling their friend using the bells. If it is not answered, they will bring their army to search for their friend."

"I think they are already here..."

The Goblin surrounded them now, about 30 of them, and one of them was a big goblin with a big size human armor and a broken greatsword. The three of them were now in big trouble. It seemed impossible for them to fight those goblins.

"Saraaah! Please tell me you got some Idea to get out of here..."

"How am I supposed to know!!!!??"

"How does this happen again?" Asked Ron

"It was all because you've killed their fellow, son!!!"

The three of them were now back to back and trying to protect each other.

One of the goblins began to attack them. It was a goblin with a small broken knife. The goblin attacked Sarah. Sarah unsheathed her knife and parried the attack of the goblin. She tried to attack the goblin but then another one attacked her too. Seeing it, Edward did not stand still. He also began to attack the goblin and tried to stab the goblin. But the goblin was too fast so he missed.

The three of them were really in trouble. The goblin group they fought against was really smart and fast. It seemed like those goblins were playing and messing around with them. But then...

"Arrrrrgh!!!?" Ron swung his knife to one of the goblin.

He missed... and the goblin laughed

"Ksksks.."

Ron attacked the goblin once more. This time he really expected the goblin to evade the attack. As it was expected, the goblin evaded it and tripped because of the object behind him.

"Gaaaah!!" The goblin screamed and tripped down

"HIYAAAA!!" Ron shouted and attacked the goblin.

Ron managed to kill the goblin and killed another one. Now the goblins were focusing on attacking Ron because Ron had killed the two of them. Watching it, Edward and Sarah was trying to protect him as hard as they could, but the three of them were already exhausted. The goblin noticed their sign of exhaustion. They began to laugh and toyed with them more. Until Ron was finally triggered and suddenly began to attack the goblin with all his might.

The goblins who knew that would happen avoided Ron's attack and countered it with their attack. Sarah noticed that the goblins were countering Ron's attack. She rushed her way to Ron and tried to help him.

*Stabbed* One of Sarah's arms was being stabbed when she was helping Ron.

"Why are you helping me?" asked Ron

"Because we don't want you to be killed. We just want to know how you made so much money all at once!" While Sarah was answering Ron, she swung her arm and made the goblin fall back a few meters.

"SARAAAAAH!? Are you okay?"

"Hell NO! Why!?"

"Because my hand is full here!" Edward was also in the same position like Sarah. He also hurt in some places of his body.

Ron was feeling so anxious right now! He started to look around and tried to find a way out. Then suddenly he found a bomb that was used as a smoke sign. The bomb was like a red ball of wool string. Without hesitation Ron threw away the bomb to the floor.

"What the....!"

"Hey what is this smoke!!!?"

Ron led Sarah and Edward to get out of the chamber and ran through the hallway of the dungeon. They ran until they were quite far from the chamber. When they felt tired, they decided to get some rest.

"Phew... That was a close call. thank you boy... you saved us"

"This is not finished, Sarah... our blood was everywhere they would come to get us anytime soon."

"At least I can buy some time to find the adventurers to help us!"
