Chapter 9 As It Should Be

The time spell that was cast by a book was really amazing. It really stood for really a long time. And the only cost of it was Ron was getting a progressive age since he was in a time that was walking really slow. In that space of time, Ron was not only trying to pick the line of fate up that he must choose, but he was also in training. Sometimes it almost drove him crazy that he was all alone and not even a single sound could be heard. Every time he was asleep he always dream about the death of his father or his best friend.

Ron who was still confused now decided to walk far away from the dungeon and the grimoire that chose him. But that didn't change the fact that he had to choose it and the time that was being stopped. Being able to live in a world of silent when there was only a statue of a person who froze in time and did not even have any feeling of hunger anymore Ron was really confused and unable to think about anything else. Meanwhile he needed time to forget it and decide later on.

Ron who was once a spoiled selfish smart child now became a teenager that was tall and had a long hair. He began to feel desperate that he should just die in the dungeon, so that he wouldn't know about what would happen next. But then that feeling was fading away as the time passed in that space of time. So he began to train himself in many skill categories to prepare himself to what would happen in the timeline where had chosen.

The timeline that Ron should choose was time when his father died. A bunch of monsters were swarming to the rest of the village and the one who was behind it was the grimoire that was awaken. That grimoire had destroyed one side of the dungeon where Ron's father was farming and where Clisy's carriage was about to go to the village. Right behind of that carriage was a big city of the kingdom where the king stayed.

And what happened next? When the village of Ron was destroyed, Ron was trying to help out the village and succeeded! But he was far too late to help his father. But then on the other hand if Ron's best friend was killed, the kingdom would be attacked by the monster. If Ron tried to stop the monster, the king kingdom which was being attacked by the monster would be destroyed by the monster. Even if Ron was able to kill all the monsters the king's life was still not safe. He was still being killed but this time by the traitor of his kingdom.

Ron was finally able to choose and the choice was that he was going to change his life forever. So After a long time, Ron decided to change his clothes to his father's clothes that matched with his grown up body. Then Ron came back to the dungeon cave where the real time world was about 5 minutes when he was gone. For Ron, it was 5 years of his life where he suffered from the choice that he must decide.

"Shelly!"

"Oh hey Ron, wow your vocal are now heavy. Ahahaha... Have you decided now?"

"Yes, I have! This was really hard at first. I even thought to save us both first and tried to sabotage the terrain but thinking that I cannot do that in this time stop space was really annoying me. But you know what, I understand it now that this is a fate that was decided long time ago before I was even born so I cannot change it here."

"Yes, that was actually the problem of this world Ron. People in this world cannot leave the fate that was decided for them a long time ago, but if you were chosen by the power of god you are still able to decide which way your fate is going to. That is the kindness of god in our worlds. So then which one?"

"Please attack where my father was!"

"Okay let's execute the choice you made."

The book was once again shining. The moment that book shone Ron's body got the impact. Ron's body flew about a meter above the ground. Meanwhile both Sarah and Edward who were confused about blocking the door that was almost opened by a monster before stopped doing their work and watched Ron's body flying above the ground. Ron's body was now starting to grow up a little. It now resembled the body that he used in the time stopped. Then the power that was collected by the book started getting bigger and bigger.

"Boy!? Can you stop that !?" said Sarah

"I think he cannot hear you Sarah. He is unconscious I think." said Edward

The power that book gathered up now stopped. But then the power exploded to one direction and it made a giant hole in that dungeon. Since there was a giant hole in that dungeon, some of the monsters that were lost inside the dungeon were now starting to come out and ran through it and went to different directions. The reason the monster were swarming through different directions was because the magic that once bound them from going to the village was now dispelled since the dungeon started collapsing.

It was just like the vision that Ron had before. The monsters were now swarming to the village where Ron once lived. Ron was finally alert. Without delaying, he used his power right away to teleport Edward and Sarah to the village where he was.

"Uwaaaa!?" Sarah and Edward screamed in shock.

"Sarah, Edward please help my village!? I cannot handle this whole thing alone!"

The situation were so tensed because the villagers were attacked by the monster. The sudden teleportation that Ron's created made some of the monsters' attention was focused on them. Almost at the same time both Sarah and Edward unleashed their weapon and started to attack the monsters. The first monster was attacking Sarah. Sarah spinned to avoid the attack and stabbed the monster right onto the back of his neck and caused it to bleed. Meanwhile at the same time Edward also got attacked by two monsters, the oni monsters!

Edward was an expert in using dual-welded weapon evaded the oni's attack and stabbed their legs at the same time, then finished them up by stabbing their heads. So from then on the fight between the three of them and the swarm of monsters were going on for a while. The difference was when Ron joined the fight, the attack was more powerful. Using what he had learnt from a time stopping world, he started to kill more monsters with so many kinds of techniques. Wizard skill, barbarian skill, bandit skill, warrior skill, and many other material arts and skills that exist in that world. And finally their battle against the swarm of monsters came to an end. And in the end, Ron's father's life end as it should be.
