Welp, cliffhangers sure suck, don't they?
STORY TIME!!!!

(y/n): "Soooooo... Can I go get dressed now, please?" you asked, still only wearing the pink towel.

Nora: "Sure! And when you're done, come to our room so we can catch up and reminisce."

You nod in agreement as you walk into your dorm room. The girls were already in their pyjamas.

Weiss: "Where were you for so long?"

Blake: "We were worried something happened to you."

Ruby: "And were are the cookies?"

(y/n): "I was in the shower, cleaning my arm and outside the door for a few minutes. I ran into my old partner."

RWBY: "Partner? The one who shot you?! Who was it?!"

(y/n): "Nora "Odinson" Valkyrie. Do you know her?"(honestly, I couldn't resist) you said as you put on your pyjamas, an old, black T-shirt and grey pyjama pants.

Their faces changed from curios to amazed to enraged very quickly. The entire room shook as they (WBY) screamed: "NORAAAAAAA!!!!"

Nora: "You called?" her head poking into the room.

WBY: "YOU SHOT MATTHEW!?!?!?"

Nora looks at you very angrily as she also screams: "YOU TOLD THEM?!"

(y/n): "S-sorry, it kinda slipped out when the nurse saw my scars. Sorry..."

Nora: "Nurse? Why would you go se-" *loud gasp* She just now noticed your forearm. "M-Matthew... What-What happened?" she worridly says while checking out the injury.

(y/n): "Just a small accident with the grinding wheel. I survived worse. Remember?"

Nora goes pale as she remembers the accident, while the other girls just stare at the two of you with very confused looks on their faces.

(y/n): "Aaaaaaanyways, let's go. Shall we?"

Nora: "We shall," grabbing your left arm and heading to her room as she remembers: "Oh, and, guys? I DID shoot Matthew by accident. But don't worry, both he and the range instructor gave me a serious scolding. But if you are still mad, I'm sorry."

The girls reluctantly say that it's okay as you two leave and go to Nora's room. After you close the door behind you, they decide to just go to sleep.

[timeskip ~30 min]
[team JNPRs room]

The five of you (Jaune, Ren, Nora, you and a red haired girl named Pyrrha) were having fun and laughing as you were telling the stories of you and Nora in the past.(Nora was at a different school for some time in this story, while Ren was somewhere else)

Pyrrha: "Wow, I never would have guessed Nora was so responsible and mature."

Nora: "HEY! Yeah, I gues you're right. But this guy was the really responsible one."

(y/n): "Well, I did have to train you, so I went with a bit more... 'Tough love' route."

Ren: "You two sure had a lot of fun. What made it end?"

(y/n): "Well, I..."

Nora: "He actually ran away. Don't know why."

(y/n): "And not ready to say why just yet."

Jaune: "We're not forcing you to say. Oh, look at the time!"

It was already 11 p.m., so you decided to go to bed. You did have class tomorrow.

Nora: "Well, good night, Matthew!"

Ren: "Good night."

Jaune: " G' night."

Pyrrha: "Sleep well!"

(y/n): "Thanks, you too."

You left their room and entered yours, only to find the team already sound asleep. It would have been adorable if Yang and Blake weren't each hugging their own body pillow with a printed picture of you on their.

(y/n)'s mind: "Why and where'd they get those? I should really sleep with one eye open so they don't crush me while I'm sleeping."(still oblivious though)

You just shrugged it off and laid down on your "crate" bed.

[timeskip midnight]

The creatures were chasing you through the Emerald forest. They are nightmare-ish, seeming to be entering and leaving the shadows with every movement, their screams growing louder as you progress through the forest.

(y/n)'s mind: "What... huff... are these?! I need to get away! I can see the end of the forest," the exhaustion already too much for you to bare, but you don't stop.

The forests edge was only 10 meters away as: "(y/n)."

You slow down right in front of the edge. Turning around, you see that the shadow monsters dissapeared, the only things left were Grimm, however, these Grimm had dark purple bodies and their armour was grey. They were just standing there, watching you. Altough...

(y/n): "W-what are you?"

Grimm: "We *whisper* familiars. *whisper whisper whisper*.

(y/n): "What di-"

But you were cut off by one of those shadow creatures bitting you in half. A silent scream was the only thing that you could do before waking up, screaming and completely drenched in sweat.

Blake: "Matthew, are you okay?"

You look left to see the girls all standing by the side of your bed.

(y/n): "I'm fine, just a nightmare, that's all. Now, let's go back to sleep, shall we? Tomorrow is an important day."

They nod and get into bed, falling asleep instantly, except for Ruby.

Ruby: "Matthew, are you sure you're okay? Because if anything is wrong, you can tell us. We're your friends, after all."

(y/n): "Don't worry, young Rose. I am absolutely fine. Go to sleep."

She rests her head on her pillow, noding. Friends, you thought, there's always a first time for everything, right?
