Y/N's POV:

I opened the door inside my house. Everything is still a mess after I left, but I haven't expected anyone to clean it up anyway. I am all alone. I decided to calm down and laid down on my so called "living room's" sofa, where you can find used ammo and a half beaten baseball bat. I just have gotten away from another fight with the cult. Peggies as we call them, have been tearing down my mentality recently, by taking over properties and luring people to their bliss. Everyone knows who they are around here, but no one is coming to help us to fight them.

I sighed, as I picked up TV's remote control and turned it on. First, the screen flickered, making it look like a live stream from a snowstorm. Just like I expected. The cult has taken off our connection to the outside world. I wouldn't be surprised , if soon Joseph Seed and his men would spread their word of The Eden's project by walking around the county door by door.

But the opposite of that happened, I got surprised. The TV stopped flickering and a character appeared on the screen.  I squinted my eyes in confusion and leaned closer to the screen. In the corner was the Eden's Gate symbol and the man seemed to be standing in some type of outdoor church. In the background was a sermon table with some flowers on it . But that wasn't the first thing that caught my eye. The person slowly started to turn towards the camera. He was...well, certainly not Joseph.

"John?" I questioned to myself while looking extremely surprised. Yes, I have seen him before in those weird propaganda posters in his region, but I live nowhere near Holland Valley. I actually live in Dutch's region. Since all the roads have been cock-blocked, from here It's really easy to travel everywhere in the county with a boat or a plane.  I guessed the television connection of John's region has just reached this far by luck.

John smiled and looked at the camera. I kinda got hypnotized with his eyes. They were so blue and pure, yet so hurt and full of pain. I shook my head, realizing what had just gone through my head.

"We are all sinners. Everyone of us." he said with a calm tone. When he kept speaking about his beliefs and sins, I realized why people fell for the cult. All of the Seed family has the skill of speech. And John wasn't any different.

Really soon John pulled off his "The power of yes" card, and a sign of this remarkable "Yes" glimmered above the man. The crowd started to cheer with hope. And that made me feel...sad. It's sad how people are so easy to manipulate.  Why wasn't I mad at John then? Making up all these lies and messing with people's heads? I just felt pity for him.

Then, a hostage was brought to the scenery. I haven't seen her before, but I assumed she was the one in those recordings, where John tried to make her the confession, but she refuses.

"Yes. I am a sinner. Yes I wish to be unburdened. Yes...-" John stops his speech for a while. I haven't taken my eyes of the TV the whole time. He continues:

"I must be, redeemed." He gently touches the hostage's throat, who looks scared by the act. John keeps his controlled appearance, and proceeds to talk straightly to the viewer:

"If you're watching this, know you've been selected. You will be cleansed. You will confess your sins, and you will be offered atonement. " That made me chuckle a little bit.

"Sure thing Johnny boy, sure thing" I said sarcastically, while smiling at the moving picture of this man. They will not get me, that's a fact.

"Don't worry, you don't have to do anything. We'll come for you." Small pause, while not looking away from the camera: "Welcome, to Eden's Gate"

The television turned it self off. I sat there for a second, rewinding the things that had just happened.

1. My television seems to be taken over by those peggies

2. John must have gotten more people on his side with this broadcast, which means more work for me

3. The cultist have started this new hobby of kidnapping innocent folks ,which leads to number 4.

4. They might be coming after me too
