Y/N's POV:
I woke up early in the morning. I fell asleep on my sofa. Before I went to bed, I ate anything I could find. Searching for midnight meal, I got a reason to walk restlessly around the apartment. I haven't slept well in ages, because you never know if a peggie is trying to kill you in your sleep. Or I have just being too paranoid? I wasn't sure, since all my emotions have strangled up in to a one singular feeling of distrust and anxiety.
I couldn't think straight last night, after I saw the broadcast. A lot of questions ran trough my head. Am I going to survive this? More importantly, will my friends and family survive? What would I be doing, if these cultists wouldn't have taken control of this place? I had to get myself together, and decided to go outside. I took my rifle with me, you know, just in case.
When I got out, I looked around. Everything is just like it used be before Joseph and his gang came. Only difference, is that now there's four psychopaths trying to bring you to the "path of faith".
I started walking along my home street. Once I had neighbors, but some of them escaped, some joined the movement and most of them died in the hands of "The Father". I took my white earphones from my jacket's pocket and I tried to solve the node frustratedly. Eventually, I put them to my ears and started to jam to the beat.
CULTIST's POV:
"Hey! Be quiet back there!" One of the cultists shouted from the front of the car, while on the radio plays Help me faith. He is sitting shotgun in a white, cult's van. They are bringing hostages to John's cleansing. There's two hostages in the back of the vehicle, both of them are scared and try desperately open the car's doors.
The van is driving in the border of Faith's region. They, are lost.
"Who, the f*ck, gets lost around here! Oh, I know! Michael! The one who just happens to be MY partner!" The cultist who shouted before, is now screaming at the driver, who is looking desperately around to see any kind of clues where they are supposed to go.
"Shut up Tony, I'm trying my best. The Father will guide us to our destination, I'm sure of it! Michael sounds determined while driving on a side road. Soon they drive trough a small bridge. Tony chuckles with disbelieve. Until he looks at the window, where he sees a girl.
"Hey, Michael forget about it, there's a sinner." Tony says little more quietly than last time.
Y/N is walking along the road, facing the opposite, so she doesn't see the peggies.
"You stay in the car, I go get her." Michael says, while stopping the car.
"Why do YOU get to do the fun part? Tony says, little childishly.
"Shall I remind you, who got us here in the first place? Michael says calmly, and closes the door, when he has gotten out."
Y/N's POV:
I have walked quite far out my place, but this is so stress relieving. Only thing that seems to haunt me now are forgotten buildings and thrown out cultist signs. My music is still playing in the background.
The calm feeling faded away. I am not safe. Something is wrong. Why? Because i felt my rifle fall out of my hand and a light touch on my shoulder. My body was in shock, even though I wanted to fight back. I felt the hands turn me around and I don't know why, but I felt disappointed, when I saw this completely random man pushing me to this cultist van. My earphones ripped off my head. All this time I heard ringing in my head and it was just like all my thinking had just stopped.
I was forced to go to the back of this car, I wanted to resist. I wanted to say f*ck off, so badly. But it was just like my mouth resisted my orders. Both of the other hostages looked sadly at me. They must have lost all of the hope. Then I heard the door's lock snap.
"Great great great you're back" Tony says fustratedly while trying to get the signal back to the radio:
"We still have to solve our problem Mike."
Michael has gotten back to the driver seat, and now he looks like he has gotten an idea. He turns to look back at Y/N.
"Tell me sinner, where are we?" Tony looks at Michael with confusion.
"What the f*ck Mike!? Of course she's not going to-
"Dutch's region, close to Faith's border. You get to your target, driving back to the bridge, turning right, and then you will be in fine in no time." I said with no emotion. I was still numb and my heart beated in panic, but I didn't understand why I wanted to help them out.
Tony and Michael looked at each other with unbelief. Michael starts the car and seems to be proud of himself. Then I heard his cunning voice one last time.
"I guess you are going to meet the baptist after all."
