"No Katty! Don't fly up there!" Krisha yelled.
Katty rolled her eyes. It was perfectly safe up here. She sat there, letting the sun warm her fur, until. Until the dragon started moving, until it started to fly upwards. She screeched, and dug her claws into the leather of the saddle, and stared down at Krisha.
"Katty! Fly down Katty, fly down!" She shouted.
But she couldn't. If she would have let go and flew down, her wings would be torn off by the ripping and breakneck speeds the dragon was flying at. She kept her claws deep in the leather, and clamped her eyes shut. They flew for what seemed like hours, until the dragon slowed down, and dipped into a lazy spiral. She felt they were going the speed of take off flying, so she opened her eyes and let her claws retract back into her toes.
She winced, for her claws were sore from keeping them in the tough leather for so long. She fell off the dragon, and opened her wings. Katty flapped them, and she took air. She tucked them to her sides, and nosedived towards the ground, and pulled out of it just before she made contact with the ground. As she landed, she did not see anything familiar. As the shock of being carried away by the dragon passed, she made a dreadful realization. Katty was lost!
