Katty looked around, and her wings shifted uneasily. This was not the familiar little town of Refdes. This was an unfamiliar world. At the speed the dragon was going, Katty figured that she was at least 200 miles from Refdes, and she had no idea where she was.
"Hey, hey you!" A voice called.
Katty turned her head around in confusion. Another winged cat had landed behind her.
"What do you want?" Asked Katty.
"I just wondered why you leapt off of that dragon, I mean, she was turning and going back to the place she came from." The other cat meowed.
"What!?" Asked Katty.
"Yep." The other cat replied, and looked at the black dot in the sky, miles and miles away.
"Oh no, oh no, oh no! I have to get home!" Exclaimed Katty in a panic struck voice.
"There is no way for you to get home. Unless you think you can fly that fast." The other cat meowed.
"Do you know where we are?" Asked Katty.
"We are three miles from the city of Perfad." Meowed the other cat.
"Okay. Well, I'm even farther away from home than I thought!" Katty meowed, feeling sick to her stomach.
"Where do you live?" Asked the other cat.
"I live in Refdes. Do you know where that is?" Asked Katty.
"Yes, and I believe you are about 500 miles away from there. I'm Phoenix, whats your name?" The other cat smoothly meowed.
"Well, I guess since you'll be stuck with me awhile, you had better here my name. My name is Katty." Katty replied smoothly as well, but on the inside, a tight ball of panic had formed in her belly.
"Who said I'd be stuck with you?" Phoenix jokingly asked.
"Me." Katty meowed.
