TWEWY (Neku x reader)

Chapter 4

(A/N: So you might be confused in this chapter but, if you read till the end the confusion should clear up or you should be able to get the gist of it)

(Y/n)'s pov

I felt my head spin as I was lying on the ground of Scramble Crossing.

"Why.. why am I in the middle of Scramble Crossing further more sleeping," I said. "Wait.. who am I?" I looked around.

This is Shibuya alright.. But why didn't anyone wake me up?

I looked up and and saw an orange spikey hair man with purple headphones.

When I saw his face, my head started to ache.

Why do I feel like I know him.. It's almost as if.. I seem to know him. Why is that?

"Hey, you okay?" the orange haired boy asked. I grabbed onto the sleeves of his shirt. "Have.. have we met before?" I asked. "I don't think so," the boy said. "Oh.. sorry, I must have confused you with someone else then..," I said. "No it's fine, you might just be confused," he said. "What do you mean?" I asked. "I'll explain to you later," he said as looked behind himself. Behind him was a bunch of strange looking monsters. "Hey what a-" I began to say but the orange hair boy talked over me. "No time! Here follow me," he said grabbing my arm and forcing me to run along with him. We manged to hide between two buildings. "What were those monsters?" I asked. "Sorry, I can't answer your questions right now but, I answer all your questions later. First, I need you to form a pact with me," he said. "What is that?" I asked. "Just form a pact with me!" he said. "Um.. okay?" I said. A blue light appeared and the boy and I's body started to light up. Then, the light disappeared. "What was that?" I asked. "We formed a pact just now. Hey check your pockets," he said. "My pockets?" I said reaching in my pockets in my (f/c) jacket. As I reached into I felt something in my depths of my pocket. There were five pins in my pockets. "Make sure you don't lose those, you'll need them," he said. "Okay, so what do I do with these?" I asked. "You'll see," he said. Once again he pulled onto my arm and ran out. Many of those wierd monsters from earlier where waiting for us. The monsters charged towards me but I pressed onto one of my pin and I slashed all of the enemies and they all disappeared. I looked behind to see the boy's face with shock.

"How did already know how to use the pins already?" he asked. "I'm not too sure myself. My hand just moved on it's own," I said. "Have you played the game before already?" he asked. "Game?" I asked as I tilted my face in confusion. "Seems like you haven't," he said.

BEEP

I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I pulled it out and opened my phone. As it lit up, I had gotten a notafication. I clicked on the notafication I had receieved.

"There it is," he said. "You mean this?" I asked showing the screen of my phone.

Reach 104 within 80 minutes. Fail, and reach erasure. -The Reapers.

I felt my hand sting for a second. Soon I saw some wierd timer on my hand.

"We should go," he said. "Where?" I asked. "To the 104," he said. "Why? Isn't this just like some random blackmail," I said. "It would be if we were alive, we'll be erased if we don't get there in time," he said. "Wait this stuff is actually saying truth?" I asked scratching my head. "Yeah, I had a hard time believing it the first time also. Let's get going to the 104 now," he said. I followed the orange hair boy to 104. As soon as we got there the timer on my hand was gone. "Now we have less to worry about," he said.

"Oh I barely noticed now but, why is it that no one notices us running around. I'm suprised no one around is getting suspicious," I said. "Oh I'll explain that to you soon but, first let's go somewhere to eat," he said. "Oh sure, where do you want to go?" I asked. "I don't feel like walking too much right now so let's just go to a fast food place near by," he said. "Sure," I said. We walked over to a fast food resturant.

We walked up the the counter to talk to the cashier. "I want a burger and a cup of orange soda. You?" he asked. "I want a burger also with a (f/d) please!" I said. I was about to pay the cashier with my cash but Neku pushed my hand down and ended up paying for both our meals. When we got our bag of food we sat down on a table. "Why did you pay for my food? I could've just paid for it myself," I said. "Well, I figured since it's your first day being in this game I would pay for your meal," he said. "Oh right, you might want to explain to me about this "game" now," I said. "Oh right," he said.

He explained to me about how I'm in a game that's known as the, "Reaper's Game" and how apparently we're in this game because we died. This game allows us to have a chance of being alive one more time. In order to enter this game, the thing most important to you is taken away from you.

"How do you know about all this?" I asked. "I played the game three times in a row already. This times my forth, I'm still not too sure what my entry fee is," he said. "What yours?" he asked. "I'm not too sure..," I said. "Oh, well maybe you'll find out later," he said. "I guess," I said. I opened the bag of food and took out my burger. I opened the wrapper and started to chow it down.

"Oh yeah, I forgot to ask. What's your name?" the boy asked. "I don't remember.. I actually can't remember up to the point I awoke in this game," I said. "Oh seriously? Maybe that's your entry fee," he said. "My entry fee is my memories?" I asked. "Maybe," he said. "Well.. since you don't remember your name, can I call you (Y/n)?" he asked. "Sure, why that name though?" I asked. "You look like someone I knew once with that name," he said. "Oh, okay. What's your name?" I asked. "It's Neku Sakuraba," he said. "Your name's Neku? Well, nice to meet you, Neku," I said. "Yeah nice to meet you too, (Y/n)," he said.

Joshua's pov

Hee hee. I can't wait to see what twist and turns will happen. In addition to their entry fees, I took a little something else. I took all of (Y/n)'s memories and took some of Neku's memories. This should be able to entertain me for awhile.
