TWEWY (Neku x reader)

Chapter 7

(Y/n)'s pov

Neku and I walked to an alley between two buildings. He carefully placed me unto the ground. "You can go get some rest, I'll be on the watch," Neku said. "Sorry for making you do this for me," I said. "It's not a problem. I don't really mind," Neku said. 

Neku's pov

(Y/n) fell fast asleep. There wasn't any mission that was sent yet so, it should be okay for (Y/n) to get some rest. 

I looked at (Y/n)'s face. 

She looks so much like (Y/n). Everytime I seem to talk to her, it feels like I'm talking to the (Y/n) I once knew. 

"(Y/n).. who exactly are you..," I said quietly. 

What kind of person were you before I met you? I can't help but wonder.. 

I heard a noise coming from behind. Before I knew it, I had recieved a cut on the back of my leg. I looked behind. 

"The noises already found out where we where hiding??" I yelled. 

I fought the noises with my pins and I managed to defeat them all by myself. I looked at (Y/n) to see if she had woken up from the loud ruckus I was making while I was fighting. Fortunately, (Y/n) managed to sleep through the whole fight. 

I looked at the clean cut I was given by the noises on my leg. "I need a healing pin, do I have any?" I asked myself checking all my pockets. I've got none.. Maybe I should go ask (Y/n) if she could heal me.. oh wait she's still resting. 

"Hey (Y/n)," I whispered into her ear. She slowly opened her eyes and she rubbed her eyes. She then looked at me. "What's wrong, Neku?" she asked. "Sorry I had to wake you up, can you heal this?" I asked showing (Y/n) the back of my leg. "That's some nasty injury you got there while I was asleep. I'll patch you up right away," she said. "Thanks," I said. She got out a healing pin out her pockets and healed me. "Here, you're able to use these right?" (Y/n) asked. She held out a few pins. "These are some healing pins. I'm suprised you don't any," (Y/n) said. "Thanks. I didn't know that I didn't have any until now," Neku said. "Well then, keep those in case of an emergency or something," she said. 

"By the way, I forgot to ask what kind of call did you recieve. You told me that it wasn't possible to recieve any contact like that," she said. "I'm not sure myself.. You're not supposed to be able to but that composer made it possible," I said. "You mean Joshua?" She asked. "Yeah.. that guy," I said. "So.. what did the two of you even talk about? The composer went out of his way to see you," she said. 

Should I tell her...? I'm not even sure if I can trust Joshua though. What if he was lying? No.. I can't trust that guy. But (Y/n).. What do I tell her? 

"Uh..." I mumbled as I took the time to think about what to say. "Neku?" she said giving me a confused look. Trying to change the topic, I said, "Well for the time being, let's head out." She nodded and followed me.

We walked past the red telephone box. 

(Y/n)'s pov

Wasn't someone talking about some sort of legend? 

"Hey Neku, is there some sort of "legend" about this telephone? I overheard something like that," I said. "Oh you mean that phone booth? Well it's like a rumor that's been going around for awhile," Neku began to explain. "A rumor, you say?" I asked. "Yeah, and a really stupid one that is," Neku said. "What kind of rumor is this?" I asked. "Well... people have been saying that if you tell your feelings to the person you love, your feelings will be returned," Neku explained but giving a face of disbelief at the same time. "Ohh it's one of those rumors. Romance huh... But the rumor sounds fake though," I said. "Hah ha, I get you. I don't get how these things get popular," Neku said. "Me neither. But since we're on the topic. Was there anyone you had feelings for when you were alive?" I asked.

Suddenly, Neku's face became slighty red. Then I realized," No way!! You do?!" I said in shock. "Hey! I haven't said anything," Neku shouted. "Oh you don't have to. Your face says it all. So tell me, who was this person like?" I asked. "Well um.. uh.. she..she," Neku blushed while rubbing the back of his head bending over slightly. "She?" I asked. "Oh let's start going!" Neku exclaimed. "Avoiding the question? I didn't think you had this side to you. I'm suprised," I said snickering to myself. "Be quiet! You tell me then. Was there anyone you liked?" Neku asked. "Oh um.. well I don't have any memories of my life so I can't really say," I said. "Oh sorry...," Neku said. "You don't have to apologize," I grinned at Neku. "My life is fine right now. You're with me after all," I said. Neku's eyes widened. ".....Don't say such embarrassing things," Neku said. "Aww are you blushing?" I asked. "Why do I feel like you've asked me this before. No I am not!" Neku said. "You still haven't answered my previous question by the way," I said. "Are you talking about the person I liked when I was alive...?" Neku said. I nodded. "...She was really nice.. We had a lot of things in common and we'd hang out a lot...," Neku said. "She seems like a good person. I hope I get to meet her one day," I smiled.

"Yeah... me to.......," Neku said. 

I wish I could meet you again... (Y/n).....

(A/N: Hello! Ahaha.... If anyone's been wondering if I abandoned this story, I wouldn't be suprised. I actually forgot how I was going to end this story and some other stuff since I haven't touched this story in so long. ^_^;; But I got motivation to continue this story again after getting TWEWY for the switch! I got so excited, I decided I'd finish this story. I'm not sure it's the same for everywhere else but where I live it's Christmas~ So Merry Christmas everyone!)
