Looking at the brain scans confused me and spiked up more questions in my mind.
Why was I having these problems?
Nothing seemed to be wrong, then again, I'm not a doctor.
No one can figure out why I was having these nose bleeds, these weird episodes were I see through peoples eyes; It was exhausting just thinking about it.
"Are you okay; Sanza?" Mr Dawson asked again for the fifth or sixth time this week.
"I'm fine, just really tired" I mumbled in reply.
Were all sitting at the table having dinner 'the Dawson way' as Mr Dawson put it.
"You've been getting tired alot lately Sanza" Mrs Dawson interjected as I was rubbing my eye sockets clean off.
"I heard her talking in her sleep last night" Oliver added, looking at me with a cheeky grin like he knew something I didn't know.
"How did you hear me from your room you little creep?" I asked hesitantly.
"I'm a werwolf" Oli responded as if it was common sense.
"That still doesn't explain how you would hear me, I don't talk in my sleep!" I sounded stern even though I knew this was just playful banter.
Oli has become more of a brother to me over the past couple of weeks; Ive been living in the mansion for about three months now and I can't believe how much it now feels like my home.
Mr and Mrs Dawson have also told me about their two daughters who have moved out and married into other clans.
Hannah and Amber Dawson are now Hannah Prinston and Amber Zalice.
They also told me about another son they had, a son who left not for marriage but for reasons no one appeared to know about.
A son so selfish he put himself before the pack, he was a terrible alpha; which is why the position was handed down to Ash.
They didn't tell me much more about him; I was pulled out of my thoughts about my new family once I heard Olivers annoying voice.
"She was saying oh Ash you complete me, put your tongue in my mouth" Oliver wined in a extremely high pitched voice, a pretty shitty impersonation of me.
"I wouldn't say that!" I snapped back quickly and stuck my tongue out.
"Shut up you two" Mr Dawson spoke with a smile, I could tell he was enjoying our sibling like banter and he could see I felt more at home.
I finally belong somewhere and am no longer homesick, because now this place is my home.
I still write to Helen and the other orphans every month, it used to be every week before I started to feel more comfortable here at the mansion.
Ash walked in just as Oli was doing an impersonation of me wanting Ash's tongue in my mouth, which was Oli holding his own face and swirling his tongue around.
"What's this?" Ash pointed at Oli, waiting for his response.
"It's my impersonation of Sanza" Oliver responded and soon after recieved a handful of mash potato smeared on the side of his face.
"See Oli what did I tell you, thats no way to talk to girls, you embarrassed your sister now, you've gone and made her mad, you have anything to say for your self?" Ash questioned, Oliver knew full well that Ash was just joining in teasing me.
"I'm sorry Sanza for hearing you make out with your pillow last night" Oliver mumbled in between giggles.
"Whatever you say Oli, just so you know, one of these days I'll have something to hold over you so laugh it up now, because you won't be laughing long" I warned him with a cheeky grin.
"So you were; making out with your pillow?" the little smart-ass jokingly asked.
"No" I stuttered trying to think of something to say.
Oli just stuck his tongue out and made a funny noise.
"You ready for some training?" Ash asked me out of nowhere, catching me off guard as I was still trying to think of a reasonable excuse for Oliver.
"What?" I stupidly responded, earning a side glance from Mr Dawson as he had a sip of his tea.
"I thought we could do some training tonight after dinner" Ash suggested.
"He means like a date" Oliver chimed in with a cheeky grin.
"Not like" Ash gulped and started stuttering "not like a date, more like; private training, were going to the dojo, nothing romantic about that, gonna try a few weapons out, practice that defence technique"
"Okay Ashton, you can stop talking now boy, run along now you two" Mr Dawson spoke with his glasses just on the bridge of his nose; he unfolded his newspaper and began to read it even though he always reads the whole thing once in the mornings and then he's done with it.
"Well, it's quarter to nine, so be back before midnight" Mr Dawson spoke between sips of his tea as he pretended to glance at his paper.
"But don't forget you have training again at four and study at eleven, so you better make sure you get enough sleep" Mrs Dawson added as she started clearing the table.
"It's fine woman relax, Sanza, Ash go on now, have fun" Mr Dawson added with a huff, waving us off with a curious smile.
