Do you ever imagine what the world would be like if you could manipulate the objects around you?
If you could shift the earth or create waves in the water.
If you could create storms with the wind or engulf flames in your hands.
If the ground would break as you take every step, and the water would freeze as you stand beside it.
There are so many if's, what about when? What about how?
It takes twenty four hours for the Earth to turn one whole time.
It takes our planet 365 days to orbit the sun.
The moon takes 27 days to go all the way around the earth and return to its starting position.
Imagine if you could control time and go to any place in the universe.
Stop wars or Lead armies.
Fight for freedom or follow one man.
To be your own person or follow the flock.
You control the world, you are God, people will either bow down to you or stand beside you.
But once you loose that power you are just another vessel walking among the earth.
I lost my powers because I let them get the better of me.
I let my powers get the better of me.
It's winter, the snow is falling down in pelts and I'm covered in three blankets in hope that I wouldn't lose my precious fingers and toes.
"Sanza you have to go to the airport. Get up!" My carer called out from the stairwell.
"Helen just back off" I snapped back hoping to stay in bed a little while longer.
I started to drift off to sleep but was rudely awakened once again from Helen ripping the warm blankets off of my body and drawing open the heavy grey curtains.
When she ripped my blankets off it felt like multiple layers of my delicate skin had been pulled free from my warm body and I was exposed to the cool and toe numbing air.
"HELEN?!" I screamed out of annoyance and at that point in time I literally felt like I was dying.
"SANZA!" Helen called back sarcastically with a look of annoyance and exhaustion on her face, that meant that she had spent another night up watching Ben in fear of nightmares or seizures.
"Yeah?" I asked sarcastically in reply to her calling my name.
"Some of the other children don't have prior commitments going on at this very moment dear, maybe think of someone other than yourself" ouch, that burnt.
I rolled over and got out of bed figuring that she wouldn't leave until I was up and ready.
I grabbed the clothes I had laid out last night and headed into my bathroom to get ready for the flight. Helen followed, I don't know how but I managed to shut the door before she could tell me what was on her mind.
