Chapter 2: think

After finally getting to the top of the mountain, I was exausted.

I hadn't eaten for hours. I needed food. My sight was going soft. Blurred streaks of vision filled my eyes.

Suddenly, before passing out, I smelt something. It smelt..like..fish? Huh? I turned my shoulder to find a dinner plate with cooked salmon on it.

How is this possible?? Is someone here? Before giving it a second thought I scarfed down my food.

Ahhh. Delicious.

But where'd it come from...

I searched the premises.

It seems I'm the only person here.

I mean, come to think of it, I haven't seen another soul in 3 days.

But the salmon. Where did it come from? It's like it appeared out of thin air...

I felt tiredness fill my eyes before too long.

I looked at the mountains. Then suddenly the mountains got blurry, and darker. And then I was asleep.

A small crisp snowflake fell apon my face. The chill had woken me up.

Snow?

I jumped up to see if I was dreaming.

Before my eyes I saw a cold soft blanket of snow, kissing the ground.

It had been snowing over night.

Winter. Already?

Confusion filled my mind as to how over the span of 3 days it gone through almost all the seasons.

What's happening?

It seems before these 3 days I had completely forgotten everything.

My mind was a blank canvas, waiting to be painted on.

My fingers twirled in the air, feeling the kiss of cold touch my fingertips.

Suddenly everything was going dark...

What's happening..?

My world was slowly going black.

Disappearing.

I see a dark shadow in the sky.

Then darkness.
