"What If I Loved You" - a Calum Hood love story

Chapter 6

Later that night...

*Lindsay's P.O.V.*

I took a well needed shower. Then Lou came back stage and already had the first shipment of clothes even though they weren't supposed to come until tomorrow, but she insisted that I needed stage clothes. I got dressed and she took me to hair and makeup. She then motioned for me to sit down.

"Anything preferable for me to do with your hair tonight?" Lou asked

"Nope, have fun" I said

"Is this your natural color?" she asked

I was a platinum blonde naturally with a pink streak going down the left side of my hair.

"Other than the pink, indeed it is." I said smiling

"It's absolutely gorgeous" Lou exclaimed

"So I've been told." I answered with a small laugh

She took my wet hair out of the towel and blow dried it, then took out a 1inch curling iron and curled my blonde locks.

"Alright looks like you're done love." Lou said

"Thank you, it's absolutely gorgeous!" I said smiling

"Alright now do me a favor and sit in the opposite chair so Chloe can do you're makeup." Lou said

I got up and went to the other chair while Chloe walked in the room. Just as Chloe came in Lou left.

"Hello, you must be Lindsay" Chloe said smiling with the same English accent as Lou

"Yup that's me." I said smiling as well

"Why did Lou leave?" I asked

"Oh, she went to go find Calum. He tends to take too long of showers, so he needs to come out and get his hair done. I'll be right back I have to go get the pallet I left in the make up kit." she said

"Makes sense" I said before she left the room

Almost on cue, in rushed a half dressed Calum Hood, with water droplets falling from his jet black hair on to his face and shoulders.

"Calum, how many times do I have to tell you to take shorter showers?" Lou asked laughing at Calum

"Sorry Lou" Calum said with a guilty smile

The water from his hair began getting all over the black chair.

"Here Cal" I said throwing him the towel that was on my head before

"Thanks Lindsay" he said smiling

"Any time Hood" I replied

"Do you mind passing me my shirt?" he said in his cute Australian accent

"Not that you want me to put one on, but still." he said smiling and wiggling his eyebrows

"Oh shut up" I said laughing at his facial expressions

I then got up, grabbed Calum's shirt, and threw it at him. I began laughing as it hit his face and he scrunched his nose.

"Thanks, I deserved that." he said laughing

"Yes, yes you did" I replied laughing as well

Then Chloe came back in and started doing my makeup. It didn't take her much time at all. Then, Liz Luke's mom came in.

"5 minutes until show time." Liz said to Calum and I

"Ok thank you Mrs.Hemmings" I said

"Lindsay how many times do I have to tell you to call me Liz? Mrs.Hemmings makes me feel old." Liz said smiling

"Alright then Liz" I said laughing

In unison Calum and I got up from our chairs and went backstage

"Lindsay look at me the whole time if you're nervous okay? I can see it in your eyes. Take a deep breath. Your dream is coming true, shouldn't you be happy?" Calum said in an attempt to calm me down

"You're right Calum" I said smiling

He took my hand in his right and a guitar in his left and led me on stage after we put in our in-ears so we can hear each other.

"Hello Philadelphia, my name is Lindsay Hill. And it is an honor to be opening up for 5 Seconds of Summer and to be performing for the first time in front of you." I said and the crowd roared

"Before I get started id like to thank Calum, Ashton, Luke, and Michael for this opportunity and I'd like to thank Calum for helping me out up here." I said and the crowd roared again

"This is stay with me by Sam Smith." I said and then listened to Calum play the cords. I let every word flow out of my mouth as if it was a poem. Before I knew it, the song was over and the crowd roared. I stood up from my chair with the mic still in my hand and took out my in-ears to hear the crowd. I began crying tears of happiness listening to them scream and chant my name. I just stood there and cried. Calum came up behind me and hugged me once again. I then brought the mic up to my lips.

"This right now, is my dream. I've just accomplished my dream. You may not know this, but Philadelphia is where I used to live when I was 11. I always dreamed of this happening, and it did." I said as the crowd roared even louder

"ONE MORE SONG, ONE MORE SONG, ONE MORE SONG!" The crowd chanted in unison

I turned around and looked at Calum and he nodded.

"What song?" He asked

"Wanna do a duet?" I asked him

"More than anything" he said with a smile

"Many Of Horror?" I asked

"Of course" he said and began strumming his guitar again

This time, I was singing to Calum. He may no know it, but this moment meant the world to me. We finished the song at the same time and said goodbye and thank you to the crowd and got off stage with Calum.

"Once again, incredible." Calum said and the boys all agreed.

Then it was their turn. Of course they where amazing as usual. We where supposed to go strait to the bus, but Calum and I snuck off to take pictures and sign autographs with fans. Yes I said fans. People actually liked me and my music. Then the boys must have realized we where gone and sent security out looking for us and brought us back to the bus.

"You have something special." Calum said as I followed him to the back room of the tour bus, closing the sliding door that came out of the wall.

"Thanks Calum, once again I couldn't have done it with out you." I said playfully punching his arm.

Our eyes then met and we just looked at each other. Before we knew it, we where kissing. And it wasn't just a little kiss. His lips where on mine, passionate and intoxicating is the only way to describe it. He put his hand on my waist pulling me closer. My hand found it's way into his jet black hair and the other on his neck. We both pulled away breathless and smiling.

" I know I've only known you for two days, but it feels like for ever. Look I really like you, and I was kinda hoping we could, you know go on a date. I know it's going to be hard but I jus-" Calum said as I cut him off with a kiss

"You talk too much Hood, of course I'll go out with you." I said

Then the door began opening and revealed Ashton.

"What's going on back here?" Ashton asked as I jumped from Calum's arms

"Uh nothing just talking" I quickly answered with a fake smile

"Yeah okay" Ashton said Turing around

I looked at Calum and smiled and he just smiled back.

Man I loved Calum. I knew I loved him with every bone in my body. He was perfect, and I wasn't going any where any time soon.
