I hadn't told JC yet that I was getting my braces taken off today. I was excited and nervous as I sat in the reception.
''Miss y/l/n'' my dentist said over the speaker. I stood up and headed upstairs. The assistant was waiting outside for me ''Hello''. She escorted me into the room and went through with what was going to happen. The minutes ticked by, and roughly 40 minutes later I was rinsing my mouth to get rid of excess debris. ''Let's see the smile'' The orthodontist said. I gave her a big grin. She laughed and told me to go.
I drove back towards JC's apartment. I inserted the code before walking up the stairs and rang the bell.
''It's open!" I heard him shout. The smell of bacon hit me as I opened the door, he was in the kitchen. ''Hey Princess!" He said placing a sandwich on the counter. Pulling me in for a tight hug and a quick kiss which turned slightly heated. His tongue slid into my mouth but he pulled away too quickly. He looked confused, he parted my lips with his thumb showing braceless teeth.
''YOU GOT YOU'RE BRACES OFF!!" He shouted, ''all the things you can now eat.'' I just nodded, he was happier than me. ''Aww you still have a beautiful smile'' He said. I pecked his cheek before tucking into my sandwich.
