I'm currently at school doing work, well I say work I mean doodles because I do not have a clue of what the teacher is on about. I ended up plugging in my earphones, one of my favourite songs began playing: Everybody Talks by Neon Trees. I was having a jamming session in my head until I felt a tap on my shoulder. I pulled out my earphones and turned around. It was JC, the school nerd, but also the sweetest, most humble person I know.
''Hmm?''
''Nice voice'' He says quietly, trying to not draw attention to us.
''Oh shit...anyone hear me?'' I ask suddenly becoming self-conscious.
''Nah... you were quiet'' He says, cheeks going red.
We went back to doing work until the bell signalled that class was over.
''Hey y/n'' I heard JC call after me down the corridor.
''Hmm'' I saw adjusting my bag on my shoulder.
''Maybe you could sing for me? Like sometime... don't wanna sound creepy but you were really good.'' JC asked nervously.
My cheeks filled with redness 'erm sure' I handed him my phone and we exchanged numbers.
''See you around'' I say. I paused ''Perhaps I can sing you a lullaby.''
