"You look nice today!" Tyler said, floofing the shorter boy's hair.
"You smell.... today!" Josh said, looking at Tyler's armpit, as it was unnaturally close to his face.
"oh sorry, heh." The boys walked down the hall together, as the other kids rushed out of the school to get to their buses. Tyler and Josh usually walked together after school, as for the reason they were walking with each other today.
As they were walking, their hands touched together. Tyler blushed and looked down, and Josh interlocked his hand in Tyler's hand. "No homo," Josh said,
"No homo," Tyler responded with a laugh, trying to ignore the huge feelings he had for Josh.
Soon enough, Tyler was home. Josh lives just down the street, so he didn't have much longer of a walk. "Well, bye Josh, cya tomorrow!" Tyler shouted while running inside as it started to rain.
"Bye Tyler!!" Josh shouted back, with a sigh as soon as Tyler was inside. He walked the rest of the way home by himself.
When he got home, he was greeted by his family and he went upstairs to work on homework and text Tyler.
Josh: Hey Tyler
Tyjo 💕: hey josh
Josh: want to hang this weekend?
Tyjo💕: sure where at
Josh: how about the park?
Tyjo💕: sounds good, Saturday at 3?
Josh: yep, I'll be there.
Tyjo💕: alright ❤️❤️
Josh:❤️❤️
Josh set down his phone and looked at his book when the words just all fumbled together as for all josh could think about was Tyler.
Josh stood up and looked out the window, rain fell fast, and outside lightning cracked occasionally and josh felt a sudden worry for Tyler. Tyler loves the rain, what if he got struck by lighting?!?
Josh: are you okay?
Tyler didn't respond
Josh: hello?
Tyjo💕: I was eating dinner why wouldn't I be okay?
Josh: oh thank god... uhh I don't know lol
Tyjo💕: don't worry about me, I'll be okay 😘
Josh: okay, I gotta go. Mom's yelling for me to go set the table
Tyjo💕: okay byee❤️❤️
Josh:❤️❤️
Josh slid down the railing while his dad gave him a stern look "there are stairs for a reason Joshua"
"It's much faster this way though!"
"You could get hurt though"
Josh rolls his eyes and hops off the railing and goes and sets the table. Only recently did they all start eating at the table together, Josh was always in charge of setting the table.
"So Joshie," Josh's mom said while floofing his hair "how was school today?"
"Uh, good."
"Really? What did you do today? Here Abby go bring this to the table" she asked while handing Josh's sister a salad bowl.
"Nothing really. It was just a normal day, wasn't bad."
"Okay then." His mom said landing a kiss on his forehead "go sit down then"
Josh sat down and daydreamed; about Tyler. Josh suspected he was gay but he wasn't sure, and he wasn't sure if his family would accept him either. Well, they probably would but he didn't know. "Let's say grace"
~Reverse time to Tyler at dinner~
"I'll lead the prayer today" Tyler's dad announced. He usually leads the prayer, giving the same message every meal. Tyler believed in god just not religiously if that makes any sense. "Dear god, thank you for this meal, and my family. And thank you for keeping the gays away from me and my family." Tyler held in his breath "thank you for sacrificing yourself for all the sins in this world. Amen" Tyler let out a deeeep breath. He didn't get it. If god loves everyone for who they are, why would he hate gays? It doesn't add up. So he has to hide it from his family.
"So Tyler, you got a girlfriend yet?" His dad asks this question every single dinner
"Uhhh, no." Tyler looks down and picks at his food. What is he supposed to say "no because I like boys dad!" ? He'd be kicked out right on his ass.
*ding* it was Tyler's phone. He passed off a awkward grin to his family. *dIng* "uhhh, may I please be excused?" Tyler asked quickly.
"Sure, go have fun texting your girlfriend"
"heh, okay" Tyler rushed to his room and saw josh was texting him
Joshie😩💦: are you okay?
Joshie😩💦: hello?
What? Sometimes josh worries too much.
Tyjo: yeah, I was eating dinner, why wouldn't I be?
Joshie😩💦: oh thank god... uhh I don't know lol
Tyjo: don't worry about me, I'll be okay 😘
Joshie😩💦: okay, I gotta go. Mom's yelling for me to go set the table
Tyjo: okay byee❤️❤️

Tyler went outside and swang on the porch swing, praying to god to make his feelings for Josh to go away, so he could be normal like everyone else.
Normal... The words faded in his head, as he began to drift asleep.
A/N: My bowels are failing from eating so many beans im not kidding... also my favorite 1st draft typo was "dear god💦💦" I don't know how that happened 😉
