I stop for a second and process what Bruce said and then I grab intertwine our fingers.
"What is it, darling?"
He looks at me and opens his mouth to say something, but stops. I wait for him to say something for a moment before he does.
"It can wait. I wanted to ask what his name is."
"His name is Damian. He doesn't really have a last name so it's just Damian."
"Oh, okay. I like that. May I meet him?"
"Yes, of course you can! Let me talk to him first though."
"Sounds like a deal."
We walk to my apartment building and Bruce sits in my living room while I talk to Damian.
"Who is he mommy?"
"He's my very good friend and he wants to meet you."
"I don't know mommy...I'm scared."
He wraps his little arms around my neck and I pick him up and cary him to the living room.
"Okay Damian, this is Bruce. Bruce, this is my son Damian."
