I gasp is suprise as his lips meet mine. After a moment the shock wears off and I melt into the kiss.
I stop kissing him and step back.
I look into his eyes.
"Bruce, I need to ask you something important."
He looks me quizzically.
"Okay, what is it?"
"Well," I pause and think a moment before I continue. "Damian has been without a father since birth, no boy should grow up without a father figure and...and...I want you to be his father."
A heavy, thick silence settles upon us. Neither one of us says a word for a moment.
"Selina Kyle," He steps closer. "I would be honored, but I need to ask you a question first."
I nod confusedly.
"Okay, what is it?"
He looks into my eyes as he gets down on one knee.
My eyes widen.
"Bruce, what are you doing?"
"Something I should have done a long time ago."
He pulls a box out and gently holds my hand.
"Selina Kyle, will you marry me?"
