Dylan pushed knocked on the door to Thomas's room over and over trying his hardest to wake the sleeping man. "Are you serious Thomas?" he asked himself before he started to yell through the door. "Thomas, Thomas wake up!" He continued pounding his fist into the door and reached for his phone to try dialing him. "Thomas, come on sleeping beauty you got to get up We need to get a head start." It had been a few days since Thomas confessed what was wrong with him. And since then he had been pretty good compared to all the rest of the days that he was gloomy. But that didn't mean that Dylan was going to continue to let him believe that you didn't want to see him again.
"I'm up, I'm up." Thomas said with a groan opening the door and looking at the one who was causing all this noise that prevented him from the sleep he wanted again. "What?" he asked squinting at him at the sudden change in lighting.
"Get dressed dude I'm taking you somewhere important!" Dylan said hyped up for the event.
"What? We finally get a break in shooting and you are waking me up even earlier than when we are shooting just because you have a place you want to go?" He asked raising a brow slightly.
"Well yeah, it's a long drive and we need to get there before too many people show up! If we don't then who knows what might happen. Now come on, we don't have all day."
Thomas only shook his head and closed the door. Scratching the back of his head he heard Dylan shout from the other side of the door that he better get ready or else. "What is so damn important?" He asked quietly before going through his suit case and getting a nice outfit to wear before walking into the bathroom to take a shower and freshen up.
Dylan waited by the door holding his ear to it to try and hear if he had gone back to sleep or not. By the sound of it he turned the water on? Maybe? It was hard because of how muffled it was. After a few more minutes of what seemed like forever the door had a click to it which caused him to bounce back and stand straight. His eyes were wide as if he was a deer in headlights which caused the Brit to stare at him as if he were insane.
"Well, I'm ready. Where are you planning on taking me?" He asked crossing his arms waiting to be led somewhere else. Not that he really wanted to go anywhere at five in the morning.
"It's a secret, but I promise you'll love it!"
"I doubt it, but okay." Dylan ran down to the elevator and took Thomas with him. Once it opened they got in and went down to the main floor before getting out the door and to the car. Thomas didn't understand what was so great about this but he loved seeing how excited Dylan was. It made him feel a bit more at peace with doing this.
Two hours had passed and they were still driving. Thomas rested his right elbow right next to where the window and car met. He thought of rolling it down but he didn't want to move. "Serious Dylan, where are we going? We've been driving for hours." Thomas found himself whining.
"It's only been..." Dylan started before looking at the time on the dash before concluding "Two hours. Not that long. We've been in cars and planes far longer than this."
"Yeah, but all those times we knew where we were going. Are you sure you aren't just lost?"
"Thomas, please, it's me." Dylan said with one hand on the wheel and the other on his chest emphasizing how it was in fact him he was referring to.
"And I rest my case."
Dylan glance at Thomas with a blank face as if trying to let him know he wasn't humored. But the Brit was just ignoring him and looking out the window. His head resting on his hand waiting for a change in scenery and for some indication of where it was that he was being sent.
