My best friend's boyfriend

Chapter two

I had never feel this way before, I felt nervous and kind of shocked. My head couldn't focused on anything right now, just on the moment I had with the literal definition of a freaking God Greek but also the cutest guy I have ever seen.

I've only had one boyfriend in my life before. His name was Cameron, he was a year older than me but he failed a grade so that's how I met him. Well, basically to summarize it in a few words, he was a complete asshole.

The first months were good, not amazing as a chick flick, but he treated me good. After a couple of months he started being an idiot towards me.

He never wanted to go out, he was always moody, he was always on parties getting wasted and checking on other girls.

One time he forgot my birthday, and as a forgiveness gift he gave me a box of beers with a bow.

I know, he was a complete asshole and I was a complete idiot for staying 8 months stuck in a toxic relationship. I broke up with him one day I saw him wasted at a party kissing with a girl. I knew that was the end for us and I meant it when I said to him that night that I didn't wanted to know anything about him. I blocked him from everything and until this day I still avoid him at school or every time.

Anyways changing of topic. I don't really know why I couldn't forget this guy, even though it was just a stupid moment, I couldn't get him out of my mind and I didn't know why.

"Earth calling liv" Darren said with a low voice as he saw how lost in space I was.

Darren Adams was my first friend ever. We were together in kindergarten and he used to throw me dirt from the ground. That's basically how we interact for the first time and how he became best friends.

What a great way to start a friendship, i know.

We stayed together through elementary school, there was nothing that could tears us apart. And until this day it's still like that.

"What's up kiddo? You're literally in a whole other planet" he let out a small low laugh so the teacher wouldn't be able to listen.

I looked at him with a nervous look and I was 100% sure of telling Darren what happened. He was like a brother to me.

"Something really weird happened in the hallway while I was running to class" I whispered, leaning forward to Darren's desk. He frowned his eyebrows as a response.

"What exactly happened liv?" He whispered back.

"Well..I basically stumbled with a guy while I was running, and fell to the ground" I knew how stupid I sounded after saying that.

He gave me a confused look. "Liv I'm not trying to ruin the moment or anything but are you really out of your mind just because of a little accident you had with a boy?" He said while his voice got a little higher and people were looking around.

"Shhh Darren!" I said as I lifted my finger to my lips. "And no of course it wasn't just that, it was the tension that was there, our eyes couldn't stop looking at each other's, he even said I was pretty and- i don't know I mean-- I really don't know how to explain but it was a different feeling" I stopped. "A good feeling".

"Oh wow liv that's so intense and exciting!" He whispered as we raised a little bit his hands to celebrate. "Maybe, you have found that feeling you were looking for?" He said raising one of his thick eyebrows.

I stayed in silent not really sure what to answer. I started thinking about but it was a question I couldn't answer , or at least not now.

When I was about to respond him, Ms. Matthews scolded me for being talking. So I stopped and tried to focus on math.

Finally, the class was over and I was picking up my books. Darren came up to me and sent me a look of 'spill the tea girl'.

"So, keep telling me your special moment with this dude!" He said making his voice a little bit more pitched.

"Okay calm down boy" I said as I tried to calm him down a bit. "I was running to class and I basically hitted my head with his big body and I fell to the ground"

"Holy shit you're so embarrassing liv" Darren said laughing. "I know " I responded as I rolled my eyes.

"Anyways, he helped me stand up with his hand, and he was in a squad position to check if I was okay. Also our eyes never left each other's" I stopped for a minute to analyze how cute I though this whole moment was.

"Then later he said I was one of the prettiest girls he has ever seen and blah blah blah".

"Well.. that's something that only happen in movies liv!" He continued "That's amazing! I'm kinda jealous to be honest" he laughed after that.
I laughed as my arms were crossed. "Why? Because you haven't had that moment with a girl?"

Darren stopped laughing and his expression turned serious. "Yeah I guess so.. I don't know"

I frowned my eyebrows as I saw how fast his expression changed when I brought that topic out.

"Well.." he continued "I think it's time to go, you lovebird" he joked as he opened the door for me. "I hate you so much" I responded as we got out of the classroom.
...

"Hey where has Lola been?" I asked looking through the hallways and the people.

Lola Scott is also one of my best friends but she wasn't that close to me as Darren is. We met a couple of years ago when she came to high school. She is a nice person and i love her but she can have her diva moments.

"I don't know I haven't seen her" he shrugged.

"Guys!!!" I hear a voice behind me so we turned around to see Lola running like crazy towards us.

"What's up? Where have you been?" Darren asked her. "I need to show you guys something!" She took both of our hands and ran towards a classroom.

"What's going on Lola?" I said
"You'll see" she responded

We arrived to the classroom and before we could go inside Lola started talking.

"Okay before you guys go inside, I wanted to give you some background story" she continued. "This summer.. I met someone" Darren and I were surprised and happy.

"And today it's his first day at this high school. He is-" she stopped and sighed. "Amazing"

I was really excited to see who this amazing guy was.

Lola opened the door slowly and just as the guy was coming out, I recognized him.

His beautiful kinda long hair, his tall and strong body and his gorgeous eyes.

He was the guy from the hallway

That's just amazing I though while I was crying on the inside.

Fml

My face was shocked and when he turned his eyes to me his smile faded, just as mine did.

Lola looked at us before she turned her gaze to him.

She took his hand and said 

"Meet my boyfriend, Justin"
