Chapter four

We went separately, Lola went with justin in his car, and Darren came with me in my car.

"Could we please listen to other artist that's not Rihanna?" Darren said complaining about my music.

Let me clarify something, Rihanna is my bae and queen, there was no way we could not listen to her.
"I'm sorry Darren but if you're tired of listening to Riri, this might not be your car" I said sending him a look of 'so sorry honey'. "Oh don't tell me that" he responded in a sarcastic voice which made me laugh. After a moment of jamming to the music ,Darren started talking. "So Liv tell me, what are you gonna do now with Justin and this whole situation?"

"What? I already told you, I'm going to step back and start seeing him as a friend and that's it" I said looking at the road trying to convince myself because I knew that's what I needed to do. "Yeah I know, you said that earlier but do you think i was going to believe you? You don't even believe it". He looked at me but I never quit my eyes off the road. "Darren I mean it okay-I'm going to-I mean I will try to-I'll " I sighed as I stutter with my own words. "Look it was just a stupid moment-" "You didn't make it sound stupid when you told me" he interrupted me. "Well it was, and it shouldn't be that hard to forget" I said looking at him and then back to the road. "Whatever you say" Darren finally said giving me one last look, taking his eyes to his window.

We arrived and they were already there sitting down smiling and talking looking all cute. I stopped in front of the door not wanting to go but then I took all the courage and confidence I had and I opened the door. They immediately looked at us and Lola sent us a look to come over to where they were.

"Hello babes!" Lola said blowing a couple of kisses. We sat down and ordered our milkshakes and some fries. I ordered my favorite vanilla milkshake. I could marry that milkshake I swear, that's how much I love it.

As we waited for our order to come Darren decided to go to the restroom, leaving me alone with Lola and Justin.

"So" Lola started "Liv are you still with Cam?" I almost chocked with my own saliva. I saw how Justin's expression changed and his eyes were on me. "No Lola, we broke up months ago, I told you". "Ohh! I remember now, you were so sad because he cheated on you. Sorry about that by the way" she said pouting.

I couldn't believe she had just said that. She knew how sad I was during that time because she was there with me trying to make me feel better.

Was it all fake?

I felt so embarrassed at this moment but I decided to hide my pain and answer confidently. Just as I was about to answer a voice said "Then that dude is a complete idiot" I looked up and noticed that voice belonged to Justin. He sent a short smile and I returned it.

"You're the cutest, that's why I love you boo" Lola said putting her hand on top of his. But he didn't look at her.

"What did I miss my friends?" Darren said as he sat down next to me. "Oh nothing much just..remembering moments" Lola looked at me and I sent her the fakest smile I could make. Lola was always like that, out of nowhere she had her diva moments.

The waitress came with our order and I was hoping to have a good time from what was left of the day.

The rest of the time was okay. I mean, Lola was only talking about how amazing their relationship was and blah blah blah.

But I guess it was fine.

Justin asked for the check and that's when things got... interesting.

"Whatever you want sweetheart" the waitress said as she sent him a wink.
