I actually like the Leafwings design the most. Of course those are the extinct ones. The Hivewing looks hilarious with its mouth open, but good body build. And something just looks wrong with the Silkwings head. And since they hatch without wings, are they called wyrms? Eh? Eh? Ah, no one will get that, but if you do, you get brownie points.
I'm a dragon nut-I even have a book of designs and breeds and my art still hasn't improved-and basically a wyrm(worm) is a giant snake with a dragon head. And since Silkwings are based on silk-worms, I thought it would be a good pun. As you can see, my art is as good as my humor: moderate-ish
My prediction is the Leafwings aren't dead, because why would they be there? And also there are going to be 5 books(guess) so maybe there are more to come.
